I took the Parisian Macaron Class on Sunday and it was very worthwhile. This really is the most difficult cookie to make, and our instructor/chef Lindsay was extremely knowledgeable and made much less intimidating to tackle this spectacular treat. Kathy

WOW! I was expecting coconut macaroons and instead I learned how to make pretty fancy French things (that somehow kind of sound the same as a "macaroon"). The French things were really tasty and I might even make them again! Emili, our amazing chef was entertaining and hilarious for the whole 2 hours and she made me want to become... More

I had the pleasure of attending a cupcake class with a few good friends. Not only was the chef a total genius in her field, she was fun, funny as hell and joked with us the entire time. I highly recommend this class.

I recently attended a doughnut making workshop with Chef Lyndsay, and it was so much fun. She is an excellent instructor, combining just the right amount of fun, fact and science. When I left, I really felt like i had expanded my knowledge of the science of the kitchen- plus I had a box of amazing doughnuts to take home.... More

Birthday parties are always a blast, especially when you are invited with friends to an exclusive "Cupcake Baking & Decorating” class at Le Dolci in Toronto. Under the guidance of a friendly pastry chef, 6 of us discovered a variety of piping techniques and other decoration tricks, all much more difficult than it originally seemed. A cheerful lesson that will... More

I took the Macaron class with Lindsay. She was a great instructor and a lot of fun, however the macarons were awful. They were overcooked and completely hollow inside. I was so excited about the class, hoping to learn to make a true macaron but ended up being completely disappointed. A macaron should have a crisp exterior and soft chewy... More

Was thinking for sometime to take some baking and cake decorating classes, walked by Le Dolci, and loved what I saw in your in-store windows. Registered myself for a class and I want to learn some more. Instructor was the absolute best. She has a lot of patience and knowledge. I would recommend to anyone that wants to take it... More

I've been meaning to take a class at Le Dolci for quite some time and was so happy when my boss gifted me the Parisian Macaron class for Christmas. I was nervous but Emili was a great instructor - so helpful, so kind and so funny! It's so important to have a good instructor, especially with something so delicate like... More

I took the Parisian Macaron class with Chef Emili this past Sunday and loved it! I've only ever tried the french method of preparing macarons, but this new modernized method Chef Emili taught, although a little sweeter for my palette, yielded incredible results - the shells were moist and chewy (not dried out and hollow) and seemed to be a...
