Tried the Chocolate & Cheese Tour...wonderful experience if you like discovering new restaurants and shops. The tour guide as well as the local shop owners were passionate about their trade and were a wealth of info. The food we tasted was more than sample-sized and by the end of the tour, we couldn't eat anything more! Great value, great fun,... More

I took part in ChowBella's Chocolate and Cheese tour this weekend. It was fantastic! Trina is passionate about food and the city, and took us on a great tour around the West Queen West and King West neighbourhoods. She took us to great local independent shops to sample decadent cupcakes, cheeses, crepes and more. There is definitely no shortage of... More

Trina gave us a personalized experienced as we were able to speak with the restaurant owner's and staff at each stop. They gave us some background on their businesses and their food specialties. Particularly enjoyed Delish and Tealish. More

Thanks for sharing the experience you enjoyed on the Art + Design District tour. It was a pleasure showing you and your family my favourite gourmet shops on Queen Street. I hope the tour made your Family Day even more special and memorable! More

The Tour was one of a kind ... We met up Trina (our tour guide) at the corner of queen west and Walnut avenue(about 5 mins walk west of Bathurst) to start off on a delectable next three hours of one of the most eclectic culinary experiences of our life.. The experience ranged from the adventurous olive oil tastings to... More

If you're like me you want experiences as presents. ChowBella was my birthday request this year. It allowed us to see a side of Totonto that we might have otherwise overlooked. Trina's tour introduces you exquisite olive oils, 10 and 12 year old balsamic vinegars, yummy French pastries, Chocolates-need I say more?--, unusually flavoured ice creams ( blue cheese), specialty... Where else could you sample olive oils from around the world on one side of the street and pop a vibrant green pistachio jewel from France on the other side? Who knew that artisanal cheeses could be included as an ingredient in fashioning unique hand made ice cream? Cup cakes and poutine? Only if washed-down with heavenly iced tea. Thank... More

I was lucky enough to set aside some time and spend the afternoon with Trina Hendry for her ChowBella culinary tour of West Queen West. Beginning to end it was full of gastronomical and sensory delights. From olive oil tasting to tea making to poutine eating, the entire tour was relaxed, informative and highly satisfying. Coming from a person who... More

I think Trina Hendry is one of the best food resources in the city. She is also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. If you want to get to know the Toronto food scene better, go on one of Trina's amazing food tours. It's absolutely amazing. And filling! Read my travel piece for food magazine Poetry of Food... More
