Did you ever spend a lot of money at a casino and wonder when you were leaving why you went there in the first place? Did you ever feel like some of the people you saw on a weekly or monthly basis at this Casino were feeling like they were friends of yours? That's likely because you have reached a... More

We love taking our pre teen daughters to watch the horse racing!!! It's cheap betting for us and fun to watch the horses race for everyone! They don't offer much variety of decent food and what they do offer is very expensive. Your better off eating before or after you go there. More tables with sun shades would be better... More

A stunning race track! Very modern, lots of outdoor seating and eating areas. The gift shop was ok. One highlight is the museum they have on champion race horses. You can spend over an hour wandering through and reading about all the champions. If you get a chance, take the drive and enjoy an evening at the track.

Visited for my son's birthday, family recommended as they frequent quite regularly. Whilst the children watched the horses we went to the casino, not for long as its quite dark and really busy - I will be honest not my cup of tea, but worth a visit to see the enormity of it. A horse fell in front of us... More

Woodbine benefits from being only minutes from the airport. That's the good point. Was accompanying a friend to the airport, not a huge gambler myself, but played slots with my friend. Very poor payout and lots of expensive machines, even the penny ones demand a minimum of 30 to 40 cents per hit. Very easy to lose money quickly, and... More

Went with my friend to Woodbine for the first time. It was so busy it was difficult to move around let alone get a seat and forget trying to get a beverage. Maybe it was the wrong day to go, we went the first of the month in November. I'm not sure I will go again but never say never.

There are plenty of 1 or 2 cent slot machines but most have compulsary set amounts per spin, therefore each spin may ended up paying $1 or $1.50 each. What a rip off if you are nor detail-oriented. The gamblers are plenty, but most of the big amount winnings happen on weekends and holidays only, balance of the week its... More

My friend and I had come to Toronto for the Taste of the Danforth and were looking for somewhere to go the night before. We have visited many casino/slot establishments and were looking forward to checking this one out. We were there for 3 hours and couldn't get a beverage to save our soul. We had to chase down a... This casino is poorly run, the drink service is negligible, the slots are shoehorned together, half the time the bill breaking machines don't work, the cleaners and staff stand around and gab. However, if you like the slots and do not want to travel another hour and a half to Mohawk (which is a much nicer albeit smaller casino), this... More

Woodbine Racetrack host Queens Pate every year. Someone from the British Royal family or their representative always come to present the trophy. I was in the corporate tent and the service was top class. I look the liberty to walk around the racetrack. Indeed it was credit to Woodbine for doing such a wonderful job to make everyone happy.
