Know your limit, play within it. Take your time. Avoid expensive machines unless you can afford it. Play for fun. Don't expect to win. Appreciate it if you do, then leave. Appreciate the excellent graphics on the machines. Always use a players card. Be nice to staff, they have a tough job. Be sure your bills are paid before going.... More

Went to watch the ponies race and enjoyed it a lot. Free parking and admission. Little crowd. Plenty of space, clean, modern, with helpful people, plenty of food and drink choices and respectful clientele made for a enjoyable day of racing even though the weather wasn't the best.

We love this tradition for Mother's Day and we were not disappointed. The food and service was wonderful and there are helpers to explain wagering on the horses that are very patient and kind. We had a great table right at the window and ran down to the finish line a couple of times to experience the excitement first hand.... More

I used to go to Woodbine for the casino lots, however, they have jammed so many machines in there now that it is very difficult to get around. Further, prior the slots used to be a little looser so that even though you didn't go home a winner, at least you had fun playing, going into bonuses, etc...Now you just... More

We attended an evening business event on a hot rainy evening. Buffet styled dinner was an event unto itself. A wonderful array of hot, cold, prime rib, fish, chicken, salads, cheeses, pastas, veggies baked goods & sauces/dips galore. Extremely well laid out & constantly replenished. Generous wine portions & very friendly staff. Due to the rain we took advantage of... More

The so-called 'casino' is straight out of your worst nightmare. Rows and rows of blinking machines, packed in so tightly that you have to slip through openings sideways, make navigating this place very inhospitable. Add to that if you want to play any electronic table games like poker you have to register for an ironically dubbed "winners card" after presenting... More

Woodbine Video Casino Blackjack Games The Good: Close proximity from home means you can walk out in 5 minutes if you hit your profit target, versus going to Rama and Fallsview which you feel obligated to play long with 3 hours of travelling (return); then the law of averages will kick in and the built-in house advantage will work against... If you like live dealer action, you'll have to go elsewhere. The card games are all electronic. There are a lot of slots, though, and horse racing. There is also a players club to accumulate points towards benefits. If you are near the Toronto airport with some time to kill, this is a nice option.

We came here for horse race, not for casino. It's a good place. Good organized horse races. Good view over the race track.
