We attended an evening business event on a hot rainy evening. Buffet styled dinner was an event unto itself. A wonderful array of hot, cold, prime rib, fish, chicken, salads, cheeses, pastas, veggies baked goods & sauces/dips galore. Extremely well laid out & constantly replenished. Generous wine portions & very friendly staff. Due to the rain we took advantage of... More

The so-called 'casino' is straight out of your worst nightmare. Rows and rows of blinking machines, packed in so tightly that you have to slip through openings sideways, make navigating this place very inhospitable. Add to that if you want to play any electronic table games like poker you have to register for an ironically dubbed "winners card" after presenting... More

Woodbine Video Casino Blackjack Games The Good: Close proximity from home means you can walk out in 5 minutes if you hit your profit target, versus going to Rama and Fallsview which you feel obligated to play long with 3 hours of travelling (return); then the law of averages will kick in and the built-in house advantage will work against... If you like live dealer action, you'll have to go elsewhere. The card games are all electronic. There are a lot of slots, though, and horse racing. There is also a players club to accumulate points towards benefits. If you are near the Toronto airport with some time to kill, this is a nice option.

We came here for horse race, not for casino. It's a good place. Good organized horse races. Good view over the race track.

Did you ever spend a lot of money at a casino and wonder when you were leaving why you went there in the first place? Did you ever feel like some of the people you saw on a weekly or monthly basis at this Casino were feeling like they were friends of yours? That's likely because you have reached a... More

We love taking our pre teen daughters to watch the horse racing!!! It's cheap betting for us and fun to watch the horses race for everyone! They don't offer much variety of decent food and what they do offer is very expensive. Your better off eating before or after you go there. More tables with sun shades would be better... More

A stunning race track! Very modern, lots of outdoor seating and eating areas. The gift shop was ok. One highlight is the museum they have on champion race horses. You can spend over an hour wandering through and reading about all the champions. If you get a chance, take the drive and enjoy an evening at the track.

Visited for my son's birthday, family recommended as they frequent quite regularly. Whilst the children watched the horses we went to the casino, not for long as its quite dark and really busy - I will be honest not my cup of tea, but worth a visit to see the enormity of it. A horse fell in front of us... More

Woodbine benefits from being only minutes from the airport. That's the good point. Was accompanying a friend to the airport, not a huge gambler myself, but played slots with my friend. Very poor payout and lots of expensive machines, even the penny ones demand a minimum of 30 to 40 cents per hit. Very easy to lose money quickly, and... More
