This was a fantastic experience! We canoed from Toronto harbor through a bird sanctuary to one of the Toronto Islands where we had a great meal featuring local cuisine and locally grown produce. Chef Scott and staff were wonderful. We ate, talked, laughed, roasted marshmallows and pecan pies until after dark, then canoed back into Toronto. The lit up Toronto... More

Yesterday, we participed in the culinary adventure company. It was amazing! The nice wheather, the poodle, the company and THE food (including a special mixed fruits juice and a delicious marshmallow) will be part of our good memories in Toronto! Many thanks for Mitch and all family

This is the 2nd Tour we've taken with Culinary Adventures. It didn't disappoint once again. While my husband and I are familiar with Toronto's Little Italy we experienced it in a very different way. It was like being a tourist in our own city. We visited 4 locations, all unique with fantastic food and beverage options. We will be booking... More

This was the Riverside/Leslieville tour and Chef Scott gave this tour himself. We were a small group of only three as it was a weekday but he did all of the usual things, despite the inconvenience of this part of Queen Street East being under construction. We got a little bit of history of the area and tasted olive oils,... More

My wife and took this tour, guided by Kevin, a partner in the company. We like Greek food and figured that this would be a way of discovering more about it. However as the tour is entitled "Evolution" we learned that Greektown is much more. Kevin took us to a number of places that had no Greek food, but opened... More

I took the Canoe and Beach Dining Adventure and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had in Toronto. The Culinary Adventure Co. did a fabulous job organizing the excursion. The paddling was fun and easy, the island was beautiful and the food, oh the food! The feast created for us by Chef Scott and his team was... More

We just took the Church and Wellsley Tour the other day. I had been on a bunch of other food tours in other cities (including my own) and this one was pleasantly different (not that the other ones weren't great in their own rights). The difference was our guide, Kevin (who was just plain great) would take us to the... More

I was in Toronto in early July for a family wedding in Cambridge. With only 2 days in the city, I wanted to make the most of my time by getting to know one of Toronto's many fantastic and charismatic neighbourhoods more intimately. As an avid food tour taker whenever I travel, a food tour with the Culinary Adventure Company... More

My brother and I are from Michigan. We have a friend visiting from the UK who wanted to see Toronto. We planned a quick 3 day visit. I love food, my brother loves the outdoors and our friend loves photography. The Escape the City Canoe Paddle and Beach Dining Adventure was perfect for all three of us. It was the... More

We did this tour on a Sunday afternoon and it was the perfect way to spend the end of our weekend. Chef Scott (or "Cheffy") really knew the neighbourhood and had amazing food recommendations! Having lived in Toronto for a while now, it was a great way for us to rediscover a favourite neighbourhood and Cheffy's endless knowledge of Toronto's... More
