Went of a Niagara on the lake tour. We were picked up late. Tour guide did not introduce himself and thought that his jokes were funny. YAWN YAWN. That at also when we got to the drop off point he pointed out where the tourist information point was and the way to town but did not say where the restaurant... More

Took the day trip to Niagara Falls. Grant was an excellent guide along with Tim the driver. Its a long day but plenty of sites are packed in. Would have appreciated more time at Niagara on the Lake. It was helped by the beautiful weather we had in late October. A word of warning, the ton of Niagara is not... More

What a brilliant tour and tour guide. Crystal the tour guide made the day entertaining and informative. Bernice the driver was great and provided great entertainment. The day tour started at a winery, we then headed to Niagara Town, then the buffet lunch, the boat ride into the falls. We finished the day off with some sightseeing on the bus... More

I really couldn't fault the whole day. At first I wasn't 100% sure as the cost for 2 adults and 2 teenagers came to nearly $500 dollars . However our guide Judy and driver Don were great. Pick up was prompt and the welcome was really friendly without being over the top. Throughout the day Judy made sure everyone was... More

Briiliant guide and great day. Tim the driver was excellent and Grant and Tim made a great double act. Only thing I would change is more time at Niagara on the lake.

We went on the Niagara Falls Evening Lights day tour from Toronto in early September. We pre-booked and paid online from the UK, well in advance in order to secure our preferred date. My only negative about the operation is that Gray Line Toronto never replied to our emails - the receipt specifies that you must confirm your trip via... More

We have just returned from the Niagara tour with our guide Judy. The only downside is you don't really have enough time to do all you want. My friend and I went on a Niagara Wine Trail Tour this weekend. For the cost, over $100, I expected to visit more private wineries and estates, and have the cost of refreshments included and provided throughout the trip (our tour guide bought us each 1 small cookie at one stop....hardly suffices for $100). Our first stop was Becker Farms,... More

I would not do this tour again unless they change the itinerary. GOOD: The driver and our tour guide were amazing The bus was in good condition. The places we visited were beautiful. The buffet lunch was good quality. NEGATIVES: I sat on the bus for 1 hour waiting while other people went on a helicopter ride. I find this... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
