I was in Toronto last week and decided to take a day trip fro the Park Hyatt to visit Niagra Falls! I had the fortunate pleasure of having Judy Holland as my guide! I work for a Swiss company and travel extensively for work globally. And I had never visited Niagra Falls. I can only tell you this must be... More

We got picked up an hour and 45 minutes later than scheduled outside our hotel. The excuse? The coach had broken down - we saw the same coach going past our hotel five times but it never stopped! We got to Niagara Falls and had a mere twenty minutes to look at the falls before rushing to the buffet dinner.... More

Really good trip from Toronto to Niagra that included the falls and whirlpool, a Hornblower boat ride to the foot of the falls, time in Niagra on the Lake and a quick stop at a local vineyard. A buffet lunch was included.

It seems most of the reviews here are for the tour that includes a trip to Niagara Falls. I opted for the "Hop on hop off" city tour. This tour was not nearly as good or thorough as similar tours I've taken in cities all over the world. You see some of the major attractions and it gives you a... More

We traveled with Hray Line Toronto for a 1-day tour to Niagra falls. The overall experience was truly wonderful with our witty and happy guide who made all of us feel at ease. We were picked up from our hotel in Downtown Toronto and after picking up a few more people we were transferred on to the main bus. The... More

Tim our driver is very good, a good day out with mix of winery visit and the beautiful little town of Niagara by the lake.

We went on the freedom day tour with Gray Line and had a perfect day. The day starts in Toronto and takes about an 1.5 hours to get to Niagara falls. You get the chance to take a helicopter (which I highly recommend), then lunch and then the boat ride on the falls (pack a towel and change of shoes... More

Wow what a brilliant day, from the first moment we got on the coach Chrystal our guide put every one at ease with her numerous quips. We were given the option of a helicopter ride over the falls at a price obviously 111 dollars pp I think. But we felt it was worth it as we had never been in... More

From the first moment of meeting the bus Emil our guide had us smiling. He was informative throughout the tour and kept everyone entertained during the ride. It's not easy giving multiple nationalities a memorable trip with language barriers, Emil's enigmatic personality works well. Overall the trip is a great day out the falls are amazing, the helicopter option a... More

I have usually had great experiences with Greyline in other places but Toronto was the pits. To start, when I called Greyline Toronto they were remis in informing me that Greyline did not exist as an entity but had been merged with hop on hop off city tours. So when I went to the meeting place for the pickup there... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
