Did the walking tour with my girlfriend and we had a blast. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. I would recommend this to anyone who plans on spending time in the distillery district. We will be doing the full segway tour next time we are in town.

Took the 60 min tour. VAbsolute best way to get around. Too bad Segways are restricted to the distillery district. Needed a 4 min lesson to get used to it. Easy to use. Not scary. You'll want to buy one after you use it. Guides give an informative history of the district. You'll learn more about the district on this... More

We came for the ghost tour, and we were taken by Gavin. Our tour group had some latecomers, and so because we arrived on time, the guys were very accomodating, and decided to take us out on our own so that we didnt have to wait. Training for the segways was then provided, and we were on our way. Gavin... More

When we went there we could not ride segways due to a music festival in the Distillery District, so we went for the walking tour with ghost stories (a night history lesson about the District punctuated with creepy stories) instead. Our guide, Louis, was super friendly and his stories were super interesting! My friends and I really enjoyed the tour,... More

Any company that has a gorilla, holding bananas and riding a segway has to fun, right? Oh yeah. Definitely one of the highlights of our Toronto trip, the segway tour of the Distillery District was awesome. After a quick lesson on how to ride and not crash, it was off for the tour. Along the way the guide stops to... More

Many major cities across the U.S. will not allow anyone under the age of 16 to rent a Segway, so we were thrilled to find Segway of Ontario! Much to the delight of our 13 year-old they realize the ease of learning to ride and recognize that a young teen can easily be responsible on one of these things while... More

Will from Segway of Ontario was very professional and helpful. We didn't make an appointment but he was able to add us in for a 30-minutes tour. He was also very knowledgeable and humorous. We had a blast!

Always wanted to try one of these gizmos so I went on the tour of the disterlery with Joseph as my guide. He really presented the area with excitement and knowledge ( a classical guitarist as his first love ) and since no one but me showed up for this tour it was a fun time . the Segway was... More

We loved it. Most fun ever was what my daughter said. Our guides were really great guys. We will definitely do this again. The trails were very pretty.

My mom and I came here a couple weekends ago before the Jays game. WHAT A BLAST. We had the greatest time! The guys who ran the tour were funny and entertaining, and the segways were hilarious to ride. Just all around a great time, I'd do it again in a heartbeat and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
