This had been my first time at this beach. When in Rome, do as the Romans do and all that so of course I "opted" out of my clothes like 90% of the people there that day. This was a great beach to visit, it was packed yet very quiet and respectful. No football tossing jocks strutting their prowess, no... More

I walked from Centre Island to Hanlan's Point via the Lighthouse and Trout Pond - nice seats at the latter. To be honest it isn't the most scenic walk on the island but very pleasant and most people are attracted if that is the right word by the 'clothing optional' beach here. An average kind of beach but I didn't... More

Exploring the islands this weekend we walk west towards Hanlan's island to check out the historic Gibraltar point lighthouse. During Doors Open, you are allows to climb to the top of the historic structure (which is rumoured to be haunted). Once we saw the lighthouse, we checked out the ArtSpace at Gibraltar Point. This communal art community houses artist of... More

I have been coming to this beach since the summer of 2003 and always try to make it AT LEAST once a year. What more can I say except that it is simply the best?!!!

I am a big fan of clothing optional beaches having been to dozens around the world; from L'espiguette in the South of France, Zipolite in Oaxaca Mexico, to Samurai beach in Australia and closer, here in BC, the famous ( or infamous! ) Wreck beach. But Hanlan's point is special; minutes from the center of a huge city, you feel... More

Usually the number of men to women is not so bad the bad part is the amount of women who just sit around with their friends gawking and taking dick pics. This is what has become of hanlans point.

Hanlan Point is a very nice clothing optional beach, filled with sand dunes and plenty of scenery. After spending some time there I got dressed and went to some of the other beaches further on and found out that because there is no life guard on duty at Hanlan's Beach, there are no safety flags to indicate any cautions or... I never thought I would go nude in public EVER! I went to the beach with a group of random strangers and of course we are all now friends after putting it all out there in the open. It is a very liberating experience. However bring lots of sunscreen, ask for help applying it all around you as if you... More

Make sure you plan on staying for an amazing unforgettable sunset. Bring everything you need as there is only a small snack bar that operates on limited hours. Lake Ontario warms up through the summer so you do see people swimming. Bear in mind that the temperature on the beach is always a little bit cooler than in the city.... More

This is Torontos best clothing optional beach. Long stretch of sand with no inhibitions and no nonsense. There are places to rent chairs and umbrella's in the peak of summer. Bring a cooler, plenty of drinks and some food and some music and enjoy the sand and sun. When you get overheated a shot dip in the cold water will... More
