A tranquil spot within the city, where nature meets city. If your a photographer or would like to avoid the crowds, I would suggest sunrise when there are less people (joggers, walkers or fellow photogs after the golden hour. Plenty of flora, fauna during the spring, summer and fall. Winter is mainly for snowscapes. Always a great place to relax... More

For the traveller, this place isn't worth your visit. There isn't much to see, even if you are a garden and botany aficionado, like I am. For the locals, it's a good place to do wedding photography, and a starting point for your trails bike ride in Toronto.

Beautiful place to take a walk and relax. Very nice in the summer with a wide range of flowers and plants. I would highly recommend it for everybody!

Great place to relax and look at nature. Walk through the woods or bike. As well walk into a beauty of flowery paths.

The gardens are beautiful. Pack a picnic and you can spend hours here, in very scenic environment. There is a small stream which runs through the garden. The place is well maintained Perhaps the only downside is that there are no playground for small children. This is more of a place for nature lovers

The beautiful array of flowers, not to mention the walking paths, ponds and Farmer's Market. Also like the fact that some areas are secluded enough that one can take a book, enjoy the scenery and not be disturbed.

A beautiful park, especially in the fall. It's basically a valley following a narrow river that is home to many ducks. You can climb up the hillsides and find trails along the top which afford great views. The north end, where there is a snack bar and other facilities and some beautiful huge weeping willows, is a favourite area for... More

Great gardens and walkways.... unusual plants and flowers in the spring and summer. The buildings have interesting exhibits.

I frequent this garden for walks year round. I love the spring the most when all of the spring flowers start to come up. The grounds crew are wonderful taking care of the beautiful grounds all year round. The flowers bloom all seasons with different types sprouting each season. The tranquil stream is wonderful to sit on a bench beside... More

The gardens are stunning but in the summer you'll also have tons of wedding couples taking photos there and it makes the whole experience seem more fairy tale like.
