Beautiful, perfect for pictures

Beautiful gardens and perfect for pictures. Free parking (which is pretty rare in TO), lots of walking areas but no picnics allowed.

Edwards Gardens is a gem in the city. It is beautiful in the spring, summer and autumn. The flowers are spectacular in the summer. The grounds are very nice. You can go for a nice stroll, jogging or have a nice picnic.

I grew up near here so it was a part of my childhood. Timing is everything if you visit here as not all flowers are out all of the time. Go earlier in the day as it can get crowded later.

It's very large, lovely flora and fauna, good and well maintained bike paths. The bridges have metal on them, so be careful on bike. Lots of Chinese tourists as well, who appear unused to sharing pedestrian paths with bike riders. Watch out so you don't hurt anyone. Ample parking too.

Lovely place to wander; beautiful gardens right here in the city, easily accessible. We didn't go during peak hours so parking was available and it was free. The Toronto Botanical Gardens offer classes and workshops - would be worthwhile to check out.

Edwards Gardens are sprawling and you can go a long way just following the trails from the parking lots. The park has a maintained garden but the trails are natural with creeks and wildflowers. There are picnic areas, open grass and washroom/water facilities in the park. Visitors can spend as little or as much time as they want but parking... More

I loved this place, It was very pretty and clean. Very peaceful environment to enjoy your evening. It has different sections and takes a good amount of time if you want to see all of it.

I like they were for the summer and disliked the high price for organic food. We were there last week on Thursday afternoon. The pastry looked delicious and that's why they attracted lots of flies since they were in the open air. The strawberries were also smelling good, they were rather pricey.

You can do all of these things at Edwards Gardens. At the very north end of a park system that allows you to walk or ride your bike all the way from Lawrence and Leslie to the lake, Edwards Gardens can be appreciated on its own as there are enough things to do to keep you busy within a short... A beautiful, peaceful place to spend a sunny afternoon. The grounds are extremely well-kept. The flowers, fountains etc are very pretty. A relaxing place to visit as well as an educational place. There are labels for the various kinds of plants and the variety is unbelievable. A great place for hiking, walking and people-watching from a park bench. A super... More
