This is a beautiful community garden and stroll along wooded trails. We even enjoyed healthy smoothies, tea, and snacks at the garden cafe. I was impressed by the variety in the outdoor garden (and bonsai exhibit), but I wouldn't recommend the early evening hours. The parking lot was already full in the early afternoon, but it got even busier in... More

What is not to like about this place? Walking paths through the Toronto ravine system. Beautiful flowers in a well maintained garden. Continuous stream of weddings with everyone dressed up and waiting for their picture to be taking. Even a tiny graveyard for some unnamed people who clearly recognized the spot for what it was at some point in history.... More

At Christmas this city park not only offers outdoor green space, play equipment and an off leash dog park but its most interesting feature is visiting the Victorian greenhouses and smelling the warm lush scents of the tropics - seasonal decorations abound and it is just a great place to enjoy the best of the City for free!

I loved every moment of my spring time walk through the garden. It is a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle. I brought a book and found a lovely spot to sit and read and just take in the springtime blossoms.

I've been going to Edwards Gardens for probably close to 50 years, starting when I was a kid and my mom would pack a family picnic with egg salad sandwiches and lemonade! Luckily I live only about 5 minutes drive (or a 15-min bike ride) away so I've been able to continue enjoying the park with my own family. The... More

Edwards gardens is a ravine setting park, with a lovely River flowing through it. It includes wild woodland trails as well as more formal gardens and greenhouses. It is next to the Toronto Botanic Gardens which is also well worth a visit. In the summer evenings there is scottish country dancing on the lawns and on Thursdays there is an... More

Love the beautiful gardens with a creek running through it. Many areas to stop for kids to interact with the usual ducks and the running stream... Only disappointment is that there is not more of it, and that one has to circle back the same way unless you walk on the other bank of the creek....so no change in scenery.... More

They place is beautiful. When you go there on the weekends, it's very busy with Photographers and Wedding parties. Entertaining.

Love going on the weekends. Very peaceful yet in the city. The best part is that its free and 10 minutes from my house.

Pathways winding through beautiful gardens contribute to a great weekend stroll in quiet surroundings which seem far removed from the busy city. For the adventurous walker, the pathways connect with other nature trails that would take hours to circumnavigate.
