Our tour around Kensington market and Chinatown was great. MIKE was our guide and he was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, funny. We can thoroughly recommend this. This was for two adults and a 9 year old. We all enjoyed it. Thanks Mike.

Of course when you hear "market" you assume either food, clothing or souvenirs. But that is not at all what we learned on the almost 2 hour walk through a very vibrant, historic, artsy, interesting neighborhood with a very cool vibe. Jason, our very local guide, explained how it was settled originally and then developed through the years as waves... More

Our excellent guide was James and we were lucky to have a small group (3 people + James). James was attentive and knowledgeable about both history and beer, an excellent combination for the task of leading the tour. I've always enjoyed the quirky tours as you often get a fresh view on the city, this tour was no exception. We... More

The beer makes history better tour was a lot of fun. We really doubted our guide's (Kit) knowledge of the city and accuracy of history (both American and Canadian) but he knew his beers. We also visited the St. Lawrence Market - it was voted "the most bests # 1 market in the World." Kit was a blast. People literally... More

We were recommended this walking tour, we gained an interesting insight into the area from a enthuasic and informative local. He described the tour as a walking conversation, my 18 year old son enjoyed the tour as did the two other ladies (40/50 years) in our small group. It was not cheap but made the visit entertaining, good tips on... More

If you like beer and history, or just beer, this is the tour to go to. "Beer Makes History Better" tells the history of beer industries and Toronto on the way by walking you through the old town to the distillery district. We got to taste some great beer in two bars and one brewery and also visited the St.... More

We arrived in Toronto on a Sunday and wanted to do a tour that would take us around the city. When pigs fry fit the bill and we were so happy we did. We learned, we ate and we moved all over the city. Our tour guide, Jason meandered through the city pointing out so many things - including graffiti... More

When we travel we prefer just wandering around neighborhoods, seeing how and where others live and eat and shop. We find this more interesting than other popular and expensive tourist attractions. James did a wonderful job giving us a great in-depth tour of 2 very different but colorful neighborhoods with a long and interesting history. We ate lunch at a... More

Great tour with James. He showed us the history of the beer industries. We came to taste exclusive beers at three bars, as well as the st Lawrence Market. We ended in the distillery district, and sampled 4 beers at one of the bars. He kept the group entertained. Awesome Tour, will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to... More
