This is a great building and it's very important still. Ppl need to remember this is still a used government building. Take the free tour by going in and asking about it. Well worth the trip if you like those kind of things. The statue of the British king on horse back behind the building is funny to see as... More

This structure is definitely worth a stop as you wander around the downtown from Queen's Park down. Currently seems to be some renovation going on, but still possible to get some good pics.

While we did not take the tour of the building, we really enjoyed the grounds and the architecture. Would have taken the tour but were surprised to learn there was a cost!

While we didn't have enough time to take the tour of the legislative buildings, we did enjoy the walk around the gardens where we viewed several statues. We also learned a bit about the Ontario legislature from the folks in the lobby of the building. This was a short stop on our way to a walk through University of Toronto... More

It was good to see the seat of government of Ontario but honestly if it had not been free probably would have skipped.

Really enjoyed my tour of the Ontario Legislative Buildings. My group was very small which helped create a personal, relaxed atmosphere in which to ask questions. All staff I encountered (security included) were very friendly, informative and welcoming. My guide was fantastic - obviously has a passion for politics and Ontario history which kept us engaged throughout the 20-30 min... More

As a teen, my mother worked for Hansard, at Queen's Park in the Legislative Building located downtown. I too had a part time job there running the edits back and forth. An exciting place to be as history is being made and debating is going on between the parties. The grounds and the buildings are stunning old architecturally magnificent. Highly... More

I went and took a tour. Turned out I was the only one on the tour. The tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. He answered any questions I had. It would have helped me to have learned a little bit more about Canadian system of government before I went so I could have asked some more questions. Tour was... More

The Ontario Legislative Buildings are not so impressive as those on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and not even close to the Houses of Parliament in London but they have a stately majesty lacking in the Capitol Buiilding in Washington, D.C. All are bicameral legislatures but quite distinctive and unique. If you can't obtain a pass for the gallery at least... More

I believe all residents of the Ontario province should visit their legislative buildings. The tours were very informative and intresting.
