It is beautiful, one of the greatest place to go. We went there second week of July and the weather was cool and crisp. My kids loved the ferry, it was their first experience though. We walk through the whole island and then went to the kids park and spend the rest of the day there. Most of the places... More

My family and I had a blast last week on Centre Island. The ferry ride was short and provided wonderful views of Toronto's skyline. Once on the island, we went to the amusement park and the children had a great time riding the rides (lines were short on Tuesday). After spending several hours at the amusement park, we walked to... Perfect place to unwind if you don't want to drive out of the CIty. 10 mins by ferry from Downtown Toronto. Best way to reach is to get to Union Station by Subway and take Street Car (509) and get off at next stop. Get to ferry docks ticket booth ride costs 7.25 per adult. As far the activities are... My husband, 16 month old and I spent the day (about 6 hours) on the Toronto Island. It was a really easy trip by ferry to get there - cost $7.25 for adults, $3.50 for kids 2-14 and free for 0-2 year olds and took about 15 minutes. If you go to Centre Island there are free maps available (not... More

Went with my mother in law (80) and my three year old and we had the best time. As a born and raised Torontonian, I appreciated the Park's authenticity. It was clean, the people working there actually seemed happy to be there. It was clean, well kept, and actually quite beautiful (especially the natural surroundings). I felt that the price... More

We had an enjoyable time walking part of the Island. The playground equipment was fun for my grandsons, ages 5 and 8. They loved the maze, would love to see more mazes, it was hard to get them to come out! We walked to see the haunted lighthouse, and would have loved to have been able to go inside. Our... More

Beautiful clean beach and gorgeous gardens near the shore of Lake Ontario. Ferry ride was smooth too.

This part of the island is (as far as I'm concerned) where people go to waste their money on silly rides and fatty, sugar filled snacks that aren't very good. I know a lot of people like this part of the island, but too much it's just a waste of money unless you have small kids that won't shut up... More
