We had an great day with our tour! The falls were sensational, and our tour guide Mel, was very warm and welcoming. Stop offs at Niagara on the Lake and an Ice Winery were great bonuses for us. Being the offseason, we were the only couple booked on the tour this day, and ended up having a personalised tour. Our... More

Took the Niagara Falls tour with Chariots Of Fire. The all day tour was great. Our driver was very nice, full of information, and spaced out all of our tour stops just right. We saw the falls from two different parts of the Canada side (up at the tower and at the ground level by the falls), took a drive... More

This tour was very good, I was the only person who booked this tour on that specific date but they still decided to continue with the tour for only me! Not every company would have done that. Knowledgable Mel drove me around, I like to listen to weird facts, history and anything that makes the city special and thats just... More

Everything from the booking to the end of the trip was fine. For those who are about to take the trip with them, if you choose the 33 Yonge pick up location, yes, it's in front of a big business building, seems random, but it is. When we first got there, we thought maybe we were in the wrong place.... More

In our 4 night stay in downtown Toronto (from Sydney, Australia) my mum, sister and I booked the day trip with Chariots of Fire unsure of what to expect of such a tour and unsure if Niagara Falls was worth visiting. We were so glad we did. Mel promptly picked us up at our chosen location, was warm, welcoming and... More

Went at end of November initially i had booked the wrong day but didn't realise till they rang me one morning at hotel to ask where i was, they were so helpful and let me rebook following day. Next day there was only 3 people as quiet time there especially with black Friday. Our driver was Mel who had an... More

We took a tour to the Niagara Falls in December 2015 and I can just tell that our expectations were surpassed by the tour and Mel (the driver and tour guide). Excellent value for your money!

Read great reviews about Chariots of Fire online and they did not disappoint! booked with them 2 weeks before heading to Toronto and was very happy to find out that one of the three meeting spots was right near my hotel (Bond Place). Met two other people and our guide Mel at the meeting spot and off we went to... More

My teenage daughter and I took this tour a few weeks ago and we absolutely loved it! It was our first trip to Niagra Falls and we wanted it to be the highlight of our Toronto vacation. Mel, our tour guide, was meticulous and every bit of the day was planned out perfectly and yet completely relaxing. This is a... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
