No hesitation highly recommending Chariots of Fire, their style of tour suited me perfectly. I was in Toronto on business and had one free day to see something and Niagara was easily top of the list. They were advertised on the official Toronto tourist information website and I booked them easily on line. The pick up point was a short... More

We were a party of 12 people from Italy, Mexico, Szwitzerland, UK and Germany. The vehicle was a small van, comfortable. Our Driver was our guide as well. He was a very nice guy, on the way he gave us a lot of information about the area and Canada. He stopped many times so we could take pictures. We didn't go... More

Had been to Niagara on my own several times before but it hadn't impressed. Took this tour to see if it would be different. It was. A. The stops are carefully chosen to maximize the experience at the falls. Better yet -free time is at scenic and peaceful Niagara on the lake rather than Niagara -which has become a tourist... More

Highly recommended and a great way to tour the Falls. Our guide Joe was a lovely man who went the extra mile to make our day fun and trouble-free. Very well organized and we learned a lot about the area.

We took a tour to Niagara Falls in July and had a brilliant day. Our guide, Mel was incredibly knowledgeable and well organised. We did two stops at the Falls which allowed plenty of viewing and time for photographs. A boat trip and a trip up the Skylon tower were optional but we didn't chose these options. Our guide was understanding... More

I am glad I took this tour instead of having friends drive me as, apart from the Falls, I would not have had the opportunity to see such scenic beauty driving through Niagara-on-the Lake, the wine country, along Niagara Parks, viewing the Niagara Peninsula Energy Plants and Clock; among other sights. I had the privilege of getting a full history... More

They were on time, clean bus, good presentation of tour facts. gave you water and energy bar. The Falls are only 90 minutes away and you get option of boat tour and tower ride (extra $) I would use again

I was having a terrible time decided whether to go on an arranged tour or just rent a car and drive it myself. I am SO GLAD I took this tour and didn't have to navigate, figure out parking, wait in line for tickets, etc. I saw so much in a short time and without any hassle or trying to... More

Firstly there were a couple of negative bits (ref the review from my fellow country person below), but overall just being at the Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake outweighed these. The bus was a few minutes late at the Yonge Street bus stop, then drove half a mile to the next pick up point by the Hard Rock cafe only to wait... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
