Haunted fort night was great as always! It is a must go every year! The atmosphere is nice and it puts you in a different world and a different time. The story is always great. from past experience the fort is also nice to visit for its vast history and seeing all the cool things.

We spent a couple of hours touring the fort. The interpreters are very friendly and good at their job. They provide a lot of information on the fort and how it was used.

Took the kids (1& 31/2) to the Fort this weekend to attend their annual Kids Halloween Hoot. I strongly recommend attending this event!!! $5 admission for adults and the kids were free as they were under 5. Caught a shuttle from the main visitors centre down to the grounds where the historical buildings are located. Different stations were set up... More

As visitors from the UK we found an excellent interpretation of the history of a Fur Trading Post. The visit started with a film which gave an overview of the history of the fort & the fur trade We then made our way from the visitor centre along the footpath to the Indian encampment where we met our costumed guide... The fort was very interesting, You get a tour guide for about an hour and a half. The girl we had Sally Collins was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed learning about the history of the fort and the fur traders.

Drove up from Lutsen MN on the advice of a friend. Wonderful tour guide named Robert(?) who told the group in great detail about almost all the buildings. As an American, I was lost on some of the history, but as an actor he did a great job portraying someone from 1815. The place is a little tricky to find... More

Every thing was bang on with details of our past history. The tour guides were very accurate in conveying the story. Would recommend a stop here.

They hold many events year round at the Fort that are well attended. There is nothing not to like there . The food is excellent like the voyagers used to eat nice hardy beef stew is one of my favs.Awesome opportunities for students to work at during the summer months.

Wow, what a fort. Even though this is not the original location for this fort it is one of the best reproductions I have ever seen. Tour guides are well versed in the history of the fort and they have a humor about them in there presentation. Beautiful antiques from the period of the fort and a garden with beautiful... More

Toured the facility and listened to some of the talk about the significance of the area. There is quite a bit of walking involved. There were some activities available however we did not participate in any.
