The golden leaves, bright blue sky, white and diamond water rushing over Kakabeca Falls in mid October - pure exhilaration. The park is gorgeous. Any time of the year.

I've been here many, many times over the last 40 years, and I never tire of going back. The falls are amazing, and the viewing platforms are really well designed and built. The trails are interesting and well signed and maintained.

Another nice falls to visit as you travel the Lake Superior Circle Tour. The Visitors Center had nice clean restrooms.

We were there in September and even with low water flows it was very good. It is a must see in the area.

Stunning little trip to see Kekabeka Falls. Its only about a 20 minute drive outside of Thunder Bay and totally worth it. Parking is $3/hour and you can do some hiking around but we just stopped to see the falls. Beautiful views from every angle!

Exceptional! I never get tired of visiting the Kakabeka Falls. We went in September and there were not too many people there so we did not feel rushed. Excellent photo opportunities.

Beautiful waterfalls, great lookouts to stand and watch (and listen) to the falls. Worth the time to go across the bridge and see from the other side as well.

Located about 30kms west of Thunder Bay, I've been coming here ever since I was a little kid with my family on camping trips. I've seen the Falls with many variations of water volumes - or not - and many instances when the Falls look like "root beer" - hence The Root Beer Falls in my family. I'm thrilled this... More
