Kakabeka falls is very accessible. The entrance to the park is just off of highway 11-17. There is lots of parking right near the falls. There are multiple observation points on both sides of the falls. There is a bridge over the falls which you can use to drive to the other side where there is more parking. The park... More

There isn't a ton to do there but take in the view but it's gorgeous. Make sure to drive across the bridge too. It would've been a nice place for a picnic. Impressive drop for the water!

Pros: Very nice large falls. They are brown in color due to minerals in the water. There is easy access to all of the overlooks. Cons: The visitor centre was set up for little kids.

My family and I always attend these falls every year. It's best in the late summer or autumn. They're are many walkways and places to relax. Parking is fairly cheap as well.

Nice stop along the way. We just took a look at the falls and the went for a short walk. It would have been a great picnic and hiking spot if we had more time.

There's a reason this is the #1 attraction around Thunder Bay. The falls are beautiful, powerful, and larger than I expected. And instead of having to hike a long way in to see it, it is just a short walk on a beautiful boardwalk to the first over-look. We took our time and walked to several spots, and then went... More

By on a Sunday morning in the uncertain temperature, we visited this place with the intention not to content itself with the main attraction, is the Falls kakabeka, but also to make a walk in one of the paths of the park. Even if the employee in the reception had informed us about the waterlogged state of certain paths, we... More
