My wife and I stopped in to visit Black Swan Brewing as part of the Chocolate trail. I had the porter which was very good. The lady who served my pour was very friendly and told us about their brewery. During our stay in Stratford, I also had their IPA and EPA at area restaurants. Both were very good. A good local brewery that makes a fine product. If you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking on the thumbs up button below. Thanks!

Yes indeed, the beer is great. We used tickets on the "Bacon & Ale Trail" one of two "trails," the other chocolate. We tried flights to sample four basic beers - all good. But please. Your chairs suck. Especially for us older folks. We promise to stay longer if you improve on the chairs.

Awesome spot to drop by for a beer. Grab a table if you can and just relax with a cold beer. It's decently priced and has a chill atmosphere. Not too many tables but there's standing room and it's right downtown so the location rocks. We were there to split and flight and ended up ordering 2 more. People came in and out frequently and was quite social with a friendly vibe!

Visited this brewery on a Sunday afternoon. Considering it wasn't busy we had poor customer service. No greeting, felt like a bother going in. Ordered some beer and then we had to ask to actually get it from the fridge. Love to support local but likely won't return for refills. Decent beer but service needs to improve.

Ryan and the gang know how to take care of both tourists and locals. If you're in luck, Wild Child will be available. Try it with their ginger simple syrup!

If you are a craft beer enthusiast that visits new craft establishments eagerly with Growlers in hand, you will be disappointed. They'll turn you away empty handed, proving that they are out of touch with the rest of the craft breweries that embraces the Growler system as a way for the little guys to build a consumer network. Shame really, as they had a decent beer line-up with and impressive Berliner Weiss.

They do make great beer. The EPA (English Pale Ale) is malty and hoppy, assertive, but still easy to drink. The IPA (India Pale Ale) is malty and even hoppier, even more assertive, but well balanced, with a strong malt back bone to balance the English hops. They don't yet serve food, but are truly cheerful about your bringing food in and settling in for lunch and a couple of pints. Since they are across the street from both Downie Street Burgers and Fosters, and close to several other places, it's pretty easy to grab a pint, then grab a beer, then grab, well, of course, another pint. We saw groups of bicyclists, families with young children, and an endless stream of locals having their growlers refilled.

Small brewery with a nice assortment of beers. They have small growlers which you can purchase and return for refills. Highly recommend stopping in for samples!!

We were on a road trip to Stratford and discovered the Black Swan's Road Trip ale while we were there. It was part of the Stratford Bacon and Ale Trail. Very good! Lots of other craft beers on tap here.

Great place to go if you are into craft beers! My husband and I love the atmosphere and the service is always friendly! The EPA on tap is one of our favourites and you can take away a growler of your beer of choice when you leave! Thank you Black Swan!
