I haven't been here in 12 years and now I remember. I took my grandson on Sept.12th and found a costly entrance fee; the same lethargic animals and some without mates with them especially the big cats! Of all the animals, only the giraffes came to the fence or made a move and only because food was forth coming. The... More

We love this place, however make sure you go in season before labour day as most things are not there. We were there x2 and most recently last weekend had a great time. The only other bad thing was no restaurants were open.there was a guy cooking hotdogs but they were way over cooked and hard. The washrooms were clean and... More

We liked the variety of different animals. There is an interactive exhibit with the giraffes that is quite exciting. There is hardly any feed machines that either work (steal your toonies) or that actually have feed in them. Some of the featured exhibits on the website are not completed and empty such as the tigers. The tram ride was ok.... More

We purchased a deal online and went to the safari Niagara with our 2 year old. It was a nice place. Make sure you allocate yourself at least 2-3 hours. They have a free splash pad, park, fishing and other attractions for children. I found that most of the animals weren't active (except for the giraffe). They just kind of... More

Even though we only had two hours to run through the zoo, we thoroughly enjoyed it. There is a good variety of animals and they look healthy and well taken care of. They each have their own little homes and many of them were taking advantage because of the heat, but we didn't mind too much. We respect they need... More

We have managed to go at least 3x a month since June . It is surprising how many different animals they have- this is no roadside attraction with a few animals trudging around aimlessly for your entertainment . They have most of the animals you would expect see at a zoo minus say the larger primates and elephants. You can... More

We have visited twice, once in 2013 and again in the beginning of September 2014. This is a great place to visit for the value. There is always a deal offered on Groupon for discounted tickets, and after Labour Day prices drop by $10 (although some attractions are closed.) Kids 3 and under are free. You can bring your own... We took our grandsons (8 & 5) and all of us had a great time. The zoo had unusual animals and loads of birds. Great value for the money. The kids had other activities such as bungee jumping/water sprinkler park/rope zone all included. Liked the fact that you could bring your own food and drinks though they did have a... More

I didn't think this zoo would be any good but boy was I wrong! So many animals to see and I loved that we could feed them! the giraffes were so much fun to feed! loved the baby monkeys and lions too. It was nice that the animals were so close together so we didn't need to walk very far.... More

We found Safari Niagara to be a pretty good outing. Tickets were purchased on Wag-Jag which meant we didn't have a whole lot invested. They offer lots of activities for kids, including climbing, play structures, feeding animals, water park, etc. The water park was awesome. It gave the kids and some adults a chance to cool off and have fun.... More
