We go here all the time to take my dog for a walk. There is a really nice pier with a great view of the sunset. The beach is nice and the carousel is so much fun. There are also really good places to eat and get ice cream nearby.

Beautiful setting and carousel. A bargain at a nickel but wanted to get the kids the little coloring book at the gift stand and it cost $6. Cheap cost of the carousel still could not make me part with $12 for two coloring books. Worth a visit IF you are nearby.

Ride the 100 year old carousel for only 5 cents. Free parking and a very short walk to the beautiful beach, lake and boat slips. Our little guy really loved this and did not want to leave, I think we spent like $1 on rides. :)

Love the price (5 cents) and the long rides. The carousel is beautiful. The building that it's in isn't so beautiful, but that's ok. I only wish they would open more of the side doors to let in some light and air flow.

This is a great little carousel that is just flat out fun to visit. And at 5 cents for a ride it's great fun. What more can you say than 'it was fun being a kid again!'

This lovingly restored and meticulously cared for Carousel delighted the children and was a throw back to the children in all of us. The only unfortunate part was the surrounding area, where demolition of all the historic buildings has devastated the once quaint community and left it baron. The Carousel is as wonderful today as it was 25 years ago... More

Back in time to 1914 - where else can you go on a merry-go-round for 5 cents? We bought a bunch of tickets and just gave the remaining ones away when we were done. It takes you back to the thrill of your first ride on a carousel, the sensation of flying along on horseback while dreaming of where you... More

Children and adults alike enjoy a whirl on this restored Carousel riding the hand-carved horses, lions, camels, goats and giraffes and four chariots. The accompanying music is played by an antique Frati band organ. All this for only five cents a ride ! Right by the beach at Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie, the Carousel is only open in the... More
