The carosel is a great opportunity to spend time with children and grand children on the water front at Port Dalhousie in St Catharines. The experience will take you back to a time when you were their age. Definatly gr8 for an after noon activity and even the price takes you back to the days of the five and dime.

Good for little kids and big kids at heart. 5 cents to ride the carousel, beautiful on a warm summer afternoon.

Can't beat the price - 5 cents a ride. An historic carousel 4 animals wide. Can't wait for the opening of the 2015 season.

This is a beautiful historic carousel housed in a building especially constructed for it...it has authentic dancing figurines... beautifully cared for horses and other animals such as lions, giraffes, and a goat...many of the animals on the inside rows move up and down...there are sleigh type seats to sit in if you would rather not sit on the animals...I think... What's not to love? It is a beautiful local historical attraction, the price is obscenely cheap, and it is still fun for the kids. Plus it is great for photos.

For only a nickel, you can ride the antique and lovely restored carousel on the lakeshore of Port Dalhousie. How do i know it is lovingly restored? I spent one winter carefully repainting one of the black horses to exact replica specifications. This carousel is part of the charm of old Port Dalhousie. Have an ice cream cone, walk along... More

A great local attraction . This authentically restored carousel and its nominal 5 cent a ride fare remains as it did over 50 years ago. Located in historic Pt. Dalhousie this is well worth a visit for families with children while touring in Niagara. Parents are welcome to assist their children while on the ride, and there are sleighs for... More

What a gorgeous carousel! It is truly beautiful. The animals are all different and beautifully done. And at a nickle a ride, you can ride them all if you want! :) The ride is beautifully maintained and in wonderful shape. The building doesn't offer much of a view, but it provides shelter so you can ride the carousel any time,... More
