Enjoyed the educational placards along the boardwalk, and there is a good view of the rapids. There are some fun sculptures that will entertain the viewer too!

The board walk and the parks along the SSM waterfront are fabulous. We took in the July 1st festivities one year and watched the fireworks over the river from the boardwalk.

Lots of locals are out walking and biking, and some are even fishing. We walked out to the whitefish island and the trails were interesting to walk on with many fun things to look at such as three bear statues, etc..

We were staying in a hotel for 03 nights near this facility and it really made our whole visit peaceful and free. We recommend to all to visit this location and enjoy the beauty and freedom.

Nice evening walk with a terrific view of the river. Some fun as well considering the three fishing bears and their catch.

Not much of an attraction but still worth a stroll down after dinner to kill time or just unwind and relax. The view of the international crossing, as well as the distant landscape was nice. Maybe it would have all seemed more complete as something worth doing if it wasnt so cold! ((Visited in Aug 2013 when sault ste marie... More

It runs all along the riverside with a great view of the bridge, the US and the locks. Last week it was full of flowers. From the Delta hotel it is a nice walk all the way up to the locks and then to the Whitefish island which is another excellent place to walk.

The Boardwalk is a great place to walk -- whether you have 2 feet or 4. People are friendly. There are generally people fishing; this past summer a very talented young man played keyboard on the boardwalk. If you're up for it, follow the walk up to the locks where there a beautiful park area, wildlife trails, and the House... More

Nice little walk over looking the river and across to Michigan. So very strange they decided to build such an atrocious mall blocking the entire waterfront. There is an amphitheater, and a farmers market during summer. I love this little city. It is a ghost town after 5pm and on weekends, but if you have a chance to get on... More
