This round-trip train ride took 11 hours. Four hours out, 1.5 there and 5 hours back. The ride out is new and exciting. The views of the lakes and from the trestles are wonderful. There is food available on the dining car, but we packed our own lunch due to my specific dietary restrictions. The Park is beautiful. The waterfalls... More

Train seats comfortable and roomy - were fortunate to have 4 seats for the two of us because the train was not over crowded-lots of room to stretch out. Expected to see more dramatic scenery during the trip-disappointed in this respect. A long train ride with not spectacular scenery. Stop at canyon not very eventful. Narrative on train was somewhat... More

I am telling you like it is. 11 1/2 hrs for this tour. On the way back the train had to go 15mph because of heat restriction. You see maybe 2-3 tops nice views along the way. That's it. Oh and that awrsome canyon you see when you climb the over 300 steps, terrible. But of water and your train... More

The train ride into agawa canyon was excellent, some narration on the TV's that are mounted on the ceiling. It would have been nice to have some narration on the return trip about animals in the area or something. It is a long trip back with the only thing on the TV's is the view from the back of the... It was a very relaxing train ride to the canyon and three great trails to the water falls and the lookout. Train trip is bit long but all of it is through the forests and if you enjoy nature then it is great. Food on the train is not that great..just ok. All in all it was a great trip... More

My daughters paid for this excursion and I was quite excited to go (autumn colours). The train left promptly in the early a.m. and my wife and I were able to get good seating, with a window view. There was an approximate one-half stop upon arrival at Agawa, where guests could depart, buy gifts, take short walks on nature trails... More

It is a beautiful place to visit. Very picture perfect. The train ride is a bit long, take along a pillow and blanket, to have nap. I found the time spent, in the canyon is much too short, if you wish to vist all the falls, lookout point and have a picnic. You have to really to hussle your feet... More

A beautiful site any time of the year but exceptional with the fall colours, the trees seem to be on fire , We stayed there to do some work and were lucky enough to be able to wet a line below Bridle Falls. Some of the best speckle trout fishing ever. I will make it out again this fall for... More
