I have waited a very long time to go on the Agawa Canyon Tour Train and to me, it was so worth it. It probably is going to be boring for some but not for me. I loved every moment of the train ride. The air that I breathed in the canyon was unlike anything I have ever breathed before.... More

This is definitely a tour if you want to see the splendour of autumn leaves, otherwise you are just zooming through a green forest... Not a whole lot of interesting things to see while riding. I don't understand why it is so popular.

I took this trip with my family when I was just a kid, and it still sticks with me to this day. It's a wonderful trip into the past, with a great train ride, a nice outdoor excursion during the day, and a pleasant return trip on the train. There's food and fun and a million picture opportunities. It's a... More

its a 4 hr train ride into the beautiful Canadian wilderness, When you get to the canyon the views are spectacular. If you happen to eat on the train as I did ( breakfast and lunch) the meals were superb, their not 5 star meals but for a train ride, it scores 5 for me The whole experience gives memories... More

This was on my bucket list of things to do. Unfortunately I planned it a little too late and many of the red leaves had fallen. I did ask the train personnel when would be the best time to take the tour and the recommendation is the 3rd week in September. Get seats on the right hand side of the... More

Make sure you sit on the right side of the train as you leave the station as that offers the best views. You sit on the same side going north or coming home. We packed a lunch for the canyon as they have picnic areas or if the weather is bad you can eat on the train. We ate breakfast... More

We booked three day trip to SSM which included this train trip through the local tourist office. You get emailed a voucher but you must collect the ticket the day before from the station so you know what carriage to get on the next day - it is a long train. The train departs at 0800hrs (get there by 7.30... More

Don't go at end of season. No food selection, no souveniors, HARD uncomfortable seats. If they are not going to be fully stocked in both conssessions and souvenior options at the end of the season as they are at the beginning then we should not have had to pay full price. Cheese danish was about all they offered at the... More

Really some thing to see. Trips a little long but enjoyable. Everyone should do it once. Get seats on the right hand side of the train. That's where every thing is.

This is an all day trip. The train leaves exactly at 8:00 am. You can walk around the canyon for 1.5 - 2 hours. The food on the train is reasonably priced and quite good. The day we went was rainy but the rain stopped while we were in the canyon. The scenery is great and the narration was informative.
