Wonderful museum with fun, informative movies and lots of planes! Insight into wildfire fighting was extremely interesting! Engine test room also very interesting--be sure to ask one of the roaming volunteers to explain! Fascinating look at the people and planes that helped open up distant parts of Canada!

This museum in an old hanger has the bush planes that helped the northern growth of Canada. You can get right up close and touch them. There are interactive exhibits and a gift shop of course. A few old cars were there and a old engine test facility. It is interesting to see the old technology and to realise what... More

Important pieces of Canadian history are here. These are the machines that helped to open up our north. It will give you some respect for the people that flew them to open things up .

The bushplane museum is constantly expanding & improving. As far as small museums go, the entry fee is a little steep but anyone who has an appreciation for aircraft will enjoy themselves. The museum has smaller single engine bushplanes to large water-bombers to displays. There are action stations, a movie-simulation experience, and science stations for kids. A couple fun things... Overall OK but children will get bored soon. Great for the place enthusiast. Shared bush plane history along with some general history items.

Although it may need some TLC with some exhibits, there are enough interactive activities and cockpits to explore that will keep young children busy and possibly entertained. There is a great movie on forest fires and their prevention as well. There are many planes to see and even touch. This museum has something for everyone and is a great way... More

Great exhibits showing Canada's bush plane history from A to Z. Great for the whole family! There's nothing else like it anywhere for real historical exhibits.

Wonderful site for all ages, Especially for families with young children. I is a very well documented and has a physical presentation that is outstanding. The simulator is a rewarding experience. You water bomber on screen creates a personal environment when viewing the water being scooped. They have a camp site set up in the forest that adds to the... More
