Be prepared to spend 2-3 hours touring the Heritage Center. Besides the exhibits of planes and firefighting equipment, there are interactive exhibits My B/L and S/S "flew" down the Agawa Canyon and fought a forest fire!! This is a must do and it is only about 5 blocks from the Vistors Centre after getting off of the International Bridge.

Variety of airplanes on display. Some videos that were short but informative. Some displays had other historic artifacts that were well displayed.

Awesome time with my 6 year old son. Great kids area. You can learn alot. 2 movies, and you can get in the planes. Loved it.

We both know precious little about Canadian air history so decided upon the rating of this attraction to see it. We are both so glad we did. We were just in time to take in a short film regarding fire fighting aircraft and moved on to a film on bush pilots. They were both interesting and informative. The aircraft used... More

This is a great place to learn about and interact with Bushplanes. The Bushplanes opened up new areas of northern Canada, and also protected us from forest fires. So many "one of a kind" planes you might never get to see otherwise. As much as I enjoyed it I've been with younger kids and you'll probably want to stay longer... More

The Bushplane Museum in Sault St. Marie is a wonderful collection. I expect any aviation enthusiast would find it worth visiting. Some of the aircraft look almost ready to fly, others in various states of restoration, which was actually interesting to see. You are able to board some of the aircraft, but all the cockpits are off limits. Children who... More

We wentt here by chance as it was pouring with rain but we were so pleased we did. There is a lot of history and aircraft in the museum and even if you are not a big aircraft enthusiast you will find out and learn so much. Make sure you see the two video presentations, one about flying a float... More

If there was one place that made us wonder, in the whole of Sault, it would be this. Worth every cent spent. The staff were very friendly. All the planes and cars were well maintained. They have put great efforts in to minute details to explain the history and the journey of the exhibits if you care to read and... More
