I went, along with my Mother, Daughter and 3 Grandchildren. It's a nice tour, about 2 hrs. We had booked the morning cruise and it was cancelled because they didn't have enough guests. The afternoon cruise left at one and was crowded. The upper deck was full so we had to sit below. We were amongst a senior tour which... More

This is an enjoyable way to experience the 65 foot lift lock along with a more traditional lock. The boat captain was welcoming and told many anecdotes while enlightening us about the local history as well as the history of building the lock system along the river.

Extremely interesting and educational plus amusing and that's just the captains commentary. Very relaxing gentle cruise through one of the highest liftlocks in the world. Have been visiting Peterborough for years to see family and have never taken the cruise until now. Very worth while surprising and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon.... This excellent tour is passed by, by most of the local residents of the area. The tour has a very informative monologue that gives a wonderful history of the Trent Waterway as well as the many people involved in its construction. The trip over the Liftlocks is great fun for the kids as well as the adults. Just because it... More

Received a good discount for tickets on Wagjag and took our two grandkids for a nice relaxing boat ride through the lift locks that were once the highest in the world. The captain did a good job of describing the history of the locks and surrounding area in a humorous manner. Half the ride was waiting for the lock to... More

We take our visitors here every summer and recomend it to everyone. This is a relaxing and informative trip up the lift locks and down the river. Our granddaughter visited us from Texas at age 13 and when her parents came with her the next year she proudly gave then the tour along with the impressed Captin. Great way to... More

Captain was very informative providing a history of the lift locks. He also had a good sense of humour. The children on board enjoyed the popcorn available for $1.00. - while the Adults could enjoy a drink from the bar.

This was such a fun tour! Our Captain, Jody, was hilarious as well as knowledgeable. The kids, ages 7 & 10, were thrilled to go up & down inside the lock as well as a wee bit terrified at the height even though the view was amazing. The rest of the crew had to scramble to get the curtains down... More

This cruise is beautiful, first you aboard an a boat that looks like an old steamboat. Very comfortable, can be indoors or enjoy the view from the deck. The cruise goes by the Little Lake fountain which is located in the middle of the lake. You will cruise by the old Little Lake cemetary, and Beavermead Park. Next up the... More

We shared our wedding vows and the amazing wedding experience with 75 of our closest friends & family aboard the Island Princess this past July 11th, 2014. It was professionally handled with great attention to every little detail. They handled absolutely everything from the decorations, to the food, to the DJ, etc....well worth the price! We could not have asked... More
