Fantastic. The best FREE park I've been too. This community is lucky. Every small town should emulate Peterborough

The best I can say is that it's free. Not a huge selection of animals and is very poorly laid out. The best part for the kids was the splash pad after.

We stop here on our way through to Toronto. Its always a great stop to break the trip up for our toddlers. Its not a huge zoo, but always well kept, clean, with great parks, huge slide I can't describe, its from the top of a huge hill all the way down, my kids love it, but we can only... More

For anyone who is going to complain, let's keep in mind that it is free! The zoo isn't huge but it was great for our toddler. It is easily accessible for all and it doesn't cost a thing. The park that is attached to the zoo will keep any kid no matter what the age busy for hours. If you're... More

Lots of animals to see. Obviously amazing value since there's no charge. Lots for kids to see and do with the splashpad, train rides, slide and playgrounds.

Great place to walk, relax and see different animals as well as take a train ride. There is a petting zoo as well as a play area for children that includes a splash pad. You can have picnics and walk along the river.

You cant beat the price and the kids loved the splash pad. we went there today after a long car ride. They had a great time and it didn't cost anything. Would def recomend

I love visiting this zoo. I try to every time I'm in Peterborough. The best part is that it's free and open all the time. Go visit it whenever you feel the urge.

This was the first time I have been too the zoo in 20 years, wow what a change. Lots of new Exhibits, buildings, food and splash park. Almost like a mini Toronto Zoo. The train I s only $2.00. Can't wait to come back and take another look. I highly recommend it.

We had driven by many times but decided to stop and visit. It was worth it for a pleasant way to spend an afternoon. The have quite a varied display from tropical snakes and birds to Sichuan Takin and Bactrian camels, all on a small scale. The most entertaining was feeding the otters, I got a few great photos.
