I have been going to this miniature Zoo for more than 30 years. The park is well maintained and there are a lot of exhibits of animals (camels, donkeys, peacocks, deer, Yak, Rhea, sheep, monkeys, Lemurs, birds, snakes, turtles, meerkat, otters and recently some rescued sloths from another larger zoo, I believe) This is a great FREE place to spend... The best part of this park is the kids jungle gym area--they really like it. The zoo features some farm animals and an old camel.

A wide variety of animals, well spaced exhibits so people are well spread out. Staff are very friendly and encourage children's participation- my granddaughter got to feed the camel! - thrilling for her!. Splash pad for hot days and a lovely playground for all ages. Lots of picnic tables for families making it a full day trip. Best of all... More

It's free! Nothing is free anymore. Don't expect lions or elephants but there is monkeys and camels and otters and other things. Oh and a cheap train ride for kids. My wife and I went on it recently for old times sake, 2$ a person that's great

My first visit to the Peterborough Zoo was on the weekend. Was quite warm out but there was plenty of shade to be found. Some of the animals were not as active due to the warmth which is understandable. The Otters were having a blast in the water playing and goofing off for everyone. I'm planning on visiting again in... More

Beautifully maintained park with a giant playground for youngsters, a small but surprisingly diverse zoo and lots of opportunities to walk. Situated right next to a very picturesque river.

Took my family to this zoo and park a couple days ago for the first time and we loved it! My small children loved seeing the animals, the train was great, perfect areas for picnic, nice scenery and fun playgrounds! We drove 2.5 hours to go here and it was well worth the drive! We will be returning again!

Wonderful FREE attraction. Lots of different critters and a few good places to buy 'eats' as well as picnic areas if you bring your own.
