Didn't see any construction this year. Lovely neighbourhood, lots of one of a kind shops. A few have a second location in Westboro, but find The Glebe less busy, much easier to park if you're driving. More locals it seems. If you are on a bike or rent a bike, just cut in off the canal bike path, lock up... More

This is as close to a downtown core you will be able to find in Ottawa. That being said, there is not enough here to be worth a detour. Also, some of the shops seem to be cathering to the birkenstock crowd... Not necessarily leading edge stuff. More

This place has a lot - lovely little bistros and coffee houses, shops, etc. Wonderful in the summer, highly recommended! More

The neighbourhood is expensive, and you can imagine that the shops have the same problem. It's nice to walk through and enjoy but not ideal for shopping. More

The Glebe used to be a Trendy Destination, I worked there for years. It's now been eclipsed by the white-hot borough of Wellington West aka The West Village. You'll still find some stores of interest but the really good people watching has moved west to the Holland & Wellington area.  More

This is just a neighbourhood - nothing special. There is nowhere to park and you'll be stuck behind cars curb crawling hoping for an elusive spot. The shops weren't worth the aggro! More
