We visited the museum with our two daughters (9 and 11) It was 11am on a Wednesday and already there was no parking. Very small lot, so plan on parking on the street or in a public lot nearby. Once parked, we waited in a long line to get in. We had pre purchased tickets but they did not have... More

The many different exhibits provide something for everyone in your family - lots for kids but adults will be enamoured with all the info on offer as well. The architecture is lovely with its inlaid mosaic tiles and detailed stained glass.

Good place for kids and very informative. Only draw back would be the line up...that is bit unmanaged and the and waiting for the lift. Each floor has a theme, very good nature museum and it is quite interactive.

We were disappointed with the cost of the entrance fee and then had to pay extra for the special exhibit. We've been to the Natural history museum in London where it was much bigger and free, and have a similar museum in Wellington which is again free. But after getting past that issue - this museum is great for kids... More

Could easily spend the whole day here. You can leave for food if you need and return. Good owl pellet workshop for our kids (10 and 13).

Can't go wrong with free thurs nights. It will be hard to see everything in 3hr esp with some crowds and allll of the cool interactive things. Better than the ROM I think. Enjoy!

It cost us $100 for a family to go, on top of that a vitamin water was $5.50. We didn't buy other food there but if that's any indication you should come prepared. Parking was none existent, if you been to similar museums in Chicago or New York you'll be disappointed. It was a fun way to spend a day... More

The kids loved the interactive displays and activities, and we all learned something! The whale skeleton was a definite highlight! Very comprehensive and even the cafeteria food was great!

We went to the museum to see a special exhibit that was running so we had to pay general admission and an extra fee - then for an extra $3 or $4 you can add the cost of seeing one 3D movie. I'm happy we paid the extra for the 3D movie because that was the best part of the... More
