We went her on a family outing on a Sunday. Go when it opens as there are less people and you can get free parking close to the museum. We were a large group so we split into two. My favorites are the rain/snow show on the three screens in the Water world and the bugs on the top floor.... More

Museum is quite small, and can be completely visited within 2-3 hours. Most of the stuff is for kids, but I did like the mineral collection.

This is a great place for tourists, students and those who think they know a lot about Canada. There is a wealth of information here, served up in small, easy to digest bits, for those with passes, or as a huge 'banquet' for those who want to kill a long, rainy day. Kids will love it, all of it. High... More

The museum was quite big with plenty to keep you interested for a few hours. It was quite a walk from the city centre so maybe worth taking a bus or taxi.

While walking through the city centre I saw a poster for inside animals display at the museum. I had to go as I have always wanted to see this kind of display. They had a very interesting inside animals display with such animals on show as giraffe, ostrich , bull horse many others. As well as the top floor the... More

I enjoyed my visit. It took about 3 hours to see everything. I paid the extra $4 to see the 3-D movie about animals in the ice age, and enjoyed it. I did not pay the $10 for the Animals Inside-Out exhibit. The architecture of the building is interesting, especially the carvings of animals on the outside. Throughout the museum... More

This place is newly renovated and so it has more displays than before. It offers many artefacts and things to see. It's a great place to go to for both adults and children. Not to mention, the architecture is amazing and one can see the grandiose of the building from the outside. This is a really neat place for the... More

So enjoy this museum. So much too learn and take in. Knowledge abounds at this museum. Great place to take the family for some fun learning - you won't be disappointed.

The architecture of this museum is worth seeing, but I found climbing all of the stairs exhausting and most of the displays were broken and did not play. DO NOT go on Canada Day!!!!! It was packed.

Spent a whole morning at this attraction. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great for kids as there were many 'hands on' experiences for them to enjoy. The wildlife models were outstanding and so lifelike as were the dinosaurs.
