The museum is not too big, good for a half way visit. They have a number of bird study skins and they put similar species side by side for you to compare their size and features. There is an activity with where you could listen to a song/call, then try to mimic it and record your own voice and play... More

From the moment you drive up and see the remarkable blend of Hogworts-style castle and futuristic sea creature cube, you know you're in for special experience. The museum is well organized with lots of hands-on activities for children and adults alike. It's easy to navigate your way to the different exhibits.

There is a LOT of information for all age groups, even toddlers. The building itself is spectacular. I also appreciated the quiet lunch room with sink and microwave and high chairs for families bringing their own lunch.

The museum was fantastic! Exhibits were interesting and wonderfully curated to young & old - the architecture of the museum building is impressive and the modern glass tower is an innovative way to replace what couldn't be restored. I only wish we went earlier in the day, could have spent a couple more hours taking it all in!

I attended this Museum with little to no expectations. Having only been to very small Museums I didn't really have anything to base previous experiences on. All I can say is wow! The sheer amount of exhibts to see in the time alotted (four hours if I remember correctly) was almost too much. We highly enjoyed all the interactive activities... More

I am a nature museum junkie, and really appreciated what this museum has to offer. The oldest exhibit (birds) is showing its age, but is still an excellent educational experience, with a lot to teach about birds. The other exhibits are newer, with fun technology and the latest information about the Earth.

I took my parents to the Museum of Nature with the intent to spend a few hours. They enjoyed it so much, we spent the entire day, taking our time at the mammal dioramas and the bird exhibit. The mammal displays show animals in their habitat, beautifully and realistically placed. We had fun gazing close-up at the many taxidermied birds... More

Age doesn't matter at this museum. It's fun for the whole family. Lots of interesting displays and information but also a lot of hands on activities for young kids. My niece and nephew loved the vet area in the bird exhibit, the cave in the Earth section and the ship and kitchen galley in the water section. Fish and bugs... More

We visited the museum May 5 specifically to see the new animals inside out exhibit. It was fantastic. Unfortunately the rest of the museum was a disappointment as there were bus loads of children yelling, screaming and running all over the place. There was no way these children would learn anything while displaying this behavior and all while being with... More
