I went here last week about a half hour before closing, so we rushed through the exhibits a bit. I've been here a few times before and I was a bit surprised to see a lot of the same stuff from the first few visits. The only exhibit I really wanted to go into required some sort of "special" pass... More

Was at the museum for a work party. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was very cozy and soft. The music echoed well off the walls The staff were generous and polite.

Was not impressed with exhibits considering it a national museum. I've seen better at the ROM and Drumheller.

Once a month they have a themed party for adults 19+ which is from 8-12pm. Iv gone to the Halloween one a few times and it is amazingly fun and i have heard good things about other themes too. You can visit all of the exhibits while you are there which is awesome.

You will enjoy the architecture (spend some time in the glass entrance) and he well-laid out exhibits. Renovations worked well and it's a fun and educational place for kids and adults.

Took my daughter once before and again with family who were visiting Ottawa for the first time. The museum truly is an experience. Each floor has a different theme from dinosaurs, birds, polar animal to different animals found in the different regions of Canada. Children would also love the caves, types of rocks and precious stones of the world, life... More

This old classic building has a new modern front from which you can get great views of the city. Interesting exhibits both new and the regular provide an fun half day adventure.

In Ottawa we're so lucky to have so many museums to choose from. But I always find myself going back repeatedly to the Museum of Nature. can't wait to have kids of my own to share this wonderful place with. I would highly recommend!

Amazing building, love the exterior. I'm a nature lover but don't find much interesting inside, the displays are perhaps good for a younger set? Prefer the the BC Royal Museum as a natural history museum. Locally, Museum of Civilisation (History) and National Art Gallery are must sees.
