What a beautiful museum, bring the family, add grandparents and anyone else. I have such beautiful memories of this museum, on my way to and from school. Always open, animals galore, exposition to learn, bones to look at,. Come on now, time for a beautiful museum. While there, don't forget to look at the street landscape.

Some exhibits can be a bit of a let down, but for the most part this is an awesome museum! For adults, I would say it may not be worth the price BUT if you have any kids under ... Say 14, I believe they will have a a blast!

Went to see the dinosaurs and enjoyed it. Two year old nephew was fascinated by the exhibits, especially the dinosaurs and fish. Lots of kids during the day and there is a play area by the marine exhibit that is a mock up of a coast guard vessel.

We decided to take advantage of the museum being free of charge on Thursday evenings from 5 to 8 pm. This is a lovely museum with 4 floors of exhibits. We spent our time in the Vale Earth Gallery which exhibits an amazing collection of minerals, rocks and gems. There are interactive parts to the exhibit where you can build... More

It was great to search the archives to discover my Grandpa's enlistment records. Wasn't the best for my 5 year old because they don't understand the history and it takes a long time to tour.

Great place to take your kids! Or even your friends. There's so much to learn and explore here. Definitely not something to be missed when visiting the city.

We visited the Museum a few days ago. It's becoming more and more disappointing with every visit. For the price you pay, plus the parking, it's absolutely NOT worth it. The so called Bugs exposition is a joke. And a bad one, at that. VERY BAD ONE! It claims "Discover Nature Up Close and Personal. Bugs - Outside the Box,... More

Over the years, this has become an expensive museum to enjoy as a family and perhaps not as wonderful as it used to be. The Insect Exhibit and the Bird Exhibit, both usually part of the permanent galleries, are both closed right now. We wanted to see the special exhibit “Bugs, Outside the Box” so paid an additional $4 each... More
