A great free thing to do in summer. Reminds me of the lights show on the Sydney opera house. Taking a monument and making it something more. Simply siting on parliament hill and enjoying a picnic is a great pastime anytime, add a free story and displaying only makes that better. Bring a blanket and chairs and relax as a... More

We went watch the MosAika with moderate expectations and we were more than pleasantly suprised. Informative, interesting, and produced so it was relateable to all generatons. Photos, music and lightshow is state of the art. Probably the most underestimates Free event in Ottawa/Gatenau. If you have not seen. go.....

Canadians tend to be understated, and our tourists sometimes don't know much about our current news and trends, never mind our history! This is a very informative, polished presentation that is steps from the Byward market ...where folk can meander to after a brief interlude learning our history & accomplishments, to savour the flavours and sounds of our present! (and... More

Bring a lawn chair or just a blanket and be prepared to be dazzled by this eye catching show, based on the history of Canada. Best of all, it's FREE! Projected on the very stones of the Parliament Buildings. Unique sights and sounds that are truly Canadian!

We were in Ottawa last summer and saw this amazing light , visual and audio history of Canada played against the Parliament buildings and it was one of the most amazing, well put together shows I have ever seen. If you are in Ottawa, don't miss it!

We didn't plan on seeing this on parliament hill as we only stumbled upon it but am I ever glad that we did. My husband is a lighting designer/tech and was over the moon watching it. I could have stayed all night and looked it. This was one of my favourite things that I saw when I visited Ottawa :)... More

We loved this show. The sound and light show on the Parliament was enjoyed by many. The large lawns were packed with people. The show last about 25 minutes and gives a history of the country. It is free too!
