This was so educational but awesome!!! It was really a eye opener and was a great idea. Glad we got to see it. I thought sitting in parliament hill watching our national building in lights was a Canadian experience.

I wish it started earlier, because I felt like we waited forever with not much around there to do. We had gotten there early after reading recommendations and were afraid to leave and come back, but I think you could get there at 9:40 for the show at 10 and would be fine.

This really is the most beautiful son et lumiere show and completely free. No need there to get there too early, you can even stand on the street and still get a great view. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Do go!

a very good light show to watch...talks briefly about canadian history... its not crowded, as the lawns are big... it may get chilly at night,, so make sure to get some blankets if you have kids... you can get some thing to put on grass and lie down.... pleasant way to spend the evening...

Amazing show! Made me proud to be Canadian. Make sure you take something to sit on and a blanket to keep you warm as things cool down once the sun sets.

My husband, teenage son and I visited Ottawa in July and, as the evening was warm and dry, decided to view the Sound and Light Show at Parliament Hill. We took foam sit-on mats as most people sit on the grass to view the show, which is projected onto the Parliament Building. The show was very well produced and the... More

Mosaika is a wonderful, creative summer event in Ottawa. I have gone twice, and always encourage visitors to attend! Bring a blanket, warm clothes, and bug spray. The special effects and bilingualism are neat, even though the "history" as presented is a bit skewed (it sort of reiterates the whole "we white people were friends with the natives and really,... I truly enjoyed this experience especially having my family with me…A nicely done light and music show…combined with a great historical overview …and beautiful weather..
