If you are visiting Ottawa I wouldn't miss Parliament. I would recommend visiting as early in the day as possible. Visited on a Sunday morning with a group of senior citizens (had reservation) and by going early we were able to view the clock tower and library. Don't miss the library! This review is based on my second visit in two years and since it is free I would recommend the tour to anyone visiting parliament hill. Get your tickets across the street, try to avoid in on weekend though as the lines can be very crowded. Hey, free is good.
You never know who you will run into here. But as intersting as the machinations of parliment are the artisry and historical facts here are the true feature. Try to get tickets to sit in on question period and watch our elected representatives parry back & forth. Politics boring?? Not here
marching bands were excellent ... red coats and great music... daily in the morning ... the tour of the Parliament was excellent and free

I wish we had a chance to explore it better, but our excursion had to be cancelled in the middle because of some events. Loved the library a lot. Nice building, loved the view from the tower! Excellent staff working as guides!
History, History, History, what can one say about Canada Parliment Building, wonders of the world, if not wonders of Canada
