Despite the cold wet weather, Craig provided an interesting and informative tour of buildings and sites important to the development of Ottawa as Canada's capital. Very knowledgeable of the history of the city and the key builders behind the street names. Well worth the tour, would be even better on a warm sunny day!

Walked around the old town, where the palace and lots government buildings are. Nice views from the top of the hill. Down where the old town is by the river, lots of cafés to eat and just hang out for a few hours. Nothing out of ordinary.

Tour started right on time and our tour guide, Alex Bois, was exceptional. We spent a good 3 hours walking through the center of town and he described the significance of the areas, buildings and people that were instrumental to Canada's history and how the city progressed. He was very knowledgeable and always took time to answer questions. Highly recommend... More

The young lady who was the guide, toured the area of the Parliament, relating to us an enormous amount of interesting information about the area and the history of the lovely city of Ottawa. She also gave us tips of where to go on our own (for example, "The Mint")

Our guide, Melanie, gave us an excellent introduction to Ottawa this morning. We found this a wonderful way to get a feel for the city. Melanie was very knowledgable and interesting. Our tour was tailored to our interests and the pace was leisurely with plenty of time for questions. Thanks! Jackie

It felt like our guide was reading a script. She dispensed a few interesting factoids but no depth. For instance, on Sparks street we stopped in front of a building that she said was once a hotel....the reason we stopped was because it was apparently the place where the oven was invented. However she didn't know the name of the... More
