This is a very interesting museum filled with all kinds of antique cars from many different eras. The building is old but that gives it a more authentic feel. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and had all kinds of facts in his head. Amazing!

The Canadian Automotive collection is pretty good, but the space is very tight so many cars are against far walls or are so tightly packed in that you can't really get a good view of it and the lighting inside could be brighter also. Many photos do not come out well because it's so dark inside. In spite of those... More

The Canadian Automotive museum is a great collection of cars from all walks of life & periods. It is rewarding to see the cars our grandparents actually had as well as those only affordable by the aristocracy. The 1920s car dealership building is an exhibit itself, well worth the admission price. I will go back again.

The Amphicar which was a car and boat in one was amazing to see. It was great to see the cars from the old movies on TCM. Loved the fins on the 1950 model. Some of the vehicles have been owned from famous people and have an interesting history. All vehicles are in excellent condition. The staff love cars and... More

The Automotive Museum across the road from Memorial Park is an often overlooked historical gem featuring hundreds of vintage cars including the famous McLaughlin Buick. Even if one is not particularly a lover of historic cars, this will peak your interest. You will be impressed with the quality and beauty of these old cars. A must-see!

We dropped into visit while in the east end - the website showed the museum as looking quite different (bright, cars all lined up neatly) than it actually does. I was surprised to find it so dark - so much so that it was tough to see the details of the cars on the second floor. I'm not sure why... More

Visited with my husband and 19 year-old son who has studied automotive, powersport and motorcycle repair. We thoroughly enjoyed the collection from international models, to Canadiana to rare models such as a historic firetruck, a De Lorean and an amphibious car. If you love vintage cars or are interested in the history of the automobile, it is a great place... More

I took my daughter and we had a great time, it doesn't take very long (30-45 minutes) and it's very inexpensive too. They have a wide range of cars and some pretty neat stuff so we really enjoyed our stop over.

The cars and vehicles are a wonder to see, but it is very stuffy, dreary, almost boring. They need to liven it up a bit!
