An awe-inspiring natural discovery awaits you in this urban island of green. It's a virtually untouched corridor of trees, plants, birds and other wildlife. The Bronte Creek ravine is wide and deep and divides the park in two distinct activity areas: Campground and Day-use. The park is truly a four season park, open everyday except for Christmas Day. In the spring, the park's forest floor is blanketed with Ontario's Floral Emblem: the Trillium, plus many other spring wildflowers. Also in the spring, stop by the children's farm and witness the miracle of life with our newborn farm animals. In the summer, enjoy our 1.8 Acre pool, hiking trails, family picnics and stay the night at our campground. The winter is just as nice with skating, tobogganing and cross-country ski trails. « less

So glad to hear about your recent visit to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The British Car Day pretty much ALWAYS has nice weather (what is it 23 years?). They luck out all the time. To bad the weather in the morning was so rainy --- the Toronto Triumph Club's motto for this event is "rain or shine, after all they... More

We stayed for 7 nights. It was an excellent location to enjoy the attractions around Toronto (generally less than one hours drive to everything we did), yet enjoy a "wilderness" camping experience. The sites were varied in size and very nice. The loop washroom had flush toilets and cold running water. The showers were hot. Being right in the middle... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent trip to Bronte Creek Provincial Park's Campground. So very glad that you had a great time. The campground really can feel like you are miles away from the city --- but really you are less than 10 minute drive to city services and shopping. Hope that you... More

We (family of 5) visited the outdoor swimming pool at Bronte Creek Provinicial park and were impressed with it's size, the shower facilities and the numerous lifeguards. Were not impressed with the staff there for the following reason. After having paid the full admission price at 4:53pm we realized we could have saved $4 (out of $11) if we entered... More

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent trip to Bronte Creek Provincial Park and visit to the 1.8 acre outdoor swimming pool. It sounds like you were disappointed, mainly in the fees charged for park and pool. Let me try to explain. Having seen how big the pool is (1.8 acres) and staffing required... More

Great biking trails, especially if you are on the campground side. Nice hidden trail behind site 310 if its not occupied. Most campsites are open and spacious, if you want a private site, check in woodland area, If you have small children, make sure you go to the day use area with the kids barn. Washrooms are nice and clean,... More

Thank you for your recent review of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. So glad to hear that you took advantage of both sides of the park. The Campground is gaining popularity with families and seniors as a convenient place to"get-a-way". The Day-use area off Burloak has been a favorite with our young visitors for over 40 years. It is a little... More

I always like to visit Bronte park. It's easy to get to and it's big enough that you don't run into crowds. We start at the barn, there are the usual farm animals, pigs, goats and chickens. We hike as there are many trails and then go to the giant pool which is like a chlorinated concrete lake and have... More

This is a great park for young and old. We recently visited in July to go to the out door swimming pool. Plenty of room, shade under the shade and a large pool to cool off in. We have also been in late winter to visit the Maple festival, all worth going to.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent trip to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Glad to hear you had a lovely time at our HUGE outdoor pool --- it really is more of a man-made LAKE. So your parent have a large motor home, love to travel, visit with people and so on... So you recommend Bronte Park (which has two areas...a camp ground area and a Park with I guess some attractions). We live in Glen Abbey and therefore thought this would be a good spot for them. We could come, drop off the Grandkids,... More

Thank you for letting us know about your recent experience at our facility. We value feedback and will take your suggestions into consideration when updating procedures and policies. It is unfortunate that you found the $16/ car/ day fee inconvenient and that you did not take advantage of accessing the day-use side and facilities. Yes, it is a different access... More

Recommend this attraction without reservation. It is clean, easy to navigate, fun to trek on, and a great area for biking. The sights, and smells, of nature are most enjoyable in this venue. Great for families looking for good, healthy exercise while still having lots of fun and scenery enjoyment. Don't miss it.

We went camping here and the site was okay. Most of the campsites don't have much trees and the ones that do have trees, have too many trees, so it would be difficult to set up more than 1 tent. The site we stayed on, 230 had shade in the early morning, but by 10:00 AM it was full sun... More
