This park is a gem of trails and quiet nature right next door to a growing urban centre. The festivals are fantastic. I love the skating rink and the trails at this time of year. I went to the Maple sugar festival last March and it was great fun. A return to simpler things without travelling to far.

Thank you for your review of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. So glad to hear you enjoy the festivals and other facilities. Did you know that the day-use area off Burloak is open year-round? I love to go hiking here and there are two leash free dog walking trails. One in the day use area and one in the Campground. The salmon were running recently and people were fly fishing. It is truly an escape and you are right in an urban area.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your recent visits to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Yes, Our 2 leash free areas are very popular with local dog owners. It's a great way for dogs to get some exercise while owners enjoy a scenic and "green" escape. Dog owners need to know that areas are not fenced, so if... More

Thank you for sharing your park experience with us. We are trying to prove that we indeed have the largest outdoor pool in Ontario... at 1.8 acres it is like a man-made lake. Most people can't imagine how big that is --- it MUST be experienced. Have you been to the Victorian Christmas Festival? If not you should check this... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the Campground of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. We have a membership here. I go every day to take our dog on the best off leash walk there is for miles around (entrance at Bronte/Upper Middle). A good few km of trails in the woodland and across the fields, with lots of regular dog walkers there so they can socialise. On the other side (Burloak/Upper Middle), we use... More
