This park is very conveniently situated close to the city. It has nice walking trails and various terrains. Many activities and events throughout the year. Huge outdoor pool, tennis courts, leash free area, picnic shelters etc. The internal roads should really be blocked off as unauthorized vehicles tend to get in and speed around inside the park not paying attention... BCPP is an amazing facility during all 4 seasons. In my younger days, before children, I enjoyed walking the many trails; later when I had 3 children very close in age, it was the perfect place to take them on my own, without assistance, where they could run freely and happily and with complete safety. My husband and I spent... More

We live in Bronte and would come here more often for hiking, the play barn, etc.... except that the season pass and daily pass have gone way up in recent years.

A big park with lots of different things to do. We enjoyed most the concrete lake and the farm area. The play barn was busy, Lots to do and see here with kids.

Thank you for your review of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. The 1.8 acre outdoor pool is certainly a highlight of most people's visits during July and August. The Playbarn and Children's Farm are open year round - so kids can "run off" their energy! THe spring is a great time to visit to see all the new young animals. Have... More

This park is a gem of trails and quiet nature right next door to a growing urban centre. The festivals are fantastic. I love the skating rink and the trails at this time of year. I went to the Maple sugar festival last March and it was great fun. A return to simpler things without travelling to far.

Thank you for your review of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. So glad to hear you enjoy the festivals and other facilities. Did you know that the day-use area off Burloak is open year-round? People can visit the park and go for a hike or walk their dog (on leash) everyday of the year (except Dec. 25). In the winter park... More

I love to go hiking here and there are two leash free dog walking trails. One in the day use area and one in the Campground. The salmon were running recently and people were fly fishing. It is truly an escape and you are right in an urban area.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your recent visits to Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Yes, Our 2 leash free areas are very popular with local dog owners. It's a great way for dogs to get some exercise while owners enjoy a scenic and "green" escape. Dog owners need to know that areas are not fenced, so if... More

Thank you for sharing your park experience with us. We are trying to prove that we indeed have the largest outdoor pool in Ontario... at 1.8 acres it is like a man-made lake. Most people can't imagine how big that is --- it MUST be experienced. Have you been to the Victorian Christmas Festival? If not you should check this... More

As pictured, the play barn is fun for younger kids. And there is another barn with some animals to see. Lots of places to bring a picnic lunch too. We have only been in the spring/summer/fall. There are lots of things to do besides the play barn throughout the year so check their schedule online. There is a fee to... More
