We have been staying at The Old Angel Inn from time to time for over 20 years. We have always been very satisfied with the service. This time we stayed 2 nights after New Year. The rooms are fairly basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The level of service we encountered was exceptional. Sue was there when... More

Went there for lunch for a birthday I had the Steak Guinness and Onion pie and my table mates had french onion soup, chicken Caesar salad and the fish and chips...the fries were amazing as well as everything else...my only complaint is the pasty on top of the steak pie could of been cooked a bit more so it was... This is a very old pub just off the main street. Open fireplace, great pubfare, super burgers and great beer in a crowded yet intimate place with a LOT of history!

We were visiting Niagra on the Lake with family who live in Niagra Falls. They recommended the pub and we were not disappointed. The place is steeped in history and reminds me of an old English pub back home in the UK. We had fish and chips and contrary to one review we found them to be very good albeit... More

After a long day went in to have a beer and was pleased to see the place it's a typical old style English pub service is excellent and staff is very friendly nothing very happening ( if you are looking for a vibrant night) but a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink and feel the place

This is a historic wonderful old pub but absolutely worth a visit. Not a fancy upscale place or one which is catering only to tourist. It's a solid food and good service. The oldest operating pub in the province. Glad it's still there.

Excellent English style pub. Oldest restaurant in this awesome vacation town. Dark interior, pub food, great service. Usually has entertainment around 9 pm. A bit noisy, but it comes with the territory. Since it is also an Inn, the Olde Angel offers guest rooms that look nice (we have not stayed there.)

Great little hotel in the middle of everything in Niagara On The Lake. The room is somewhat rustic but its over 100 years old with plank floors, the manager, Ann couldn't do enough for us. There is a restaurant down below our room and there was no sound in the room at all. Will try the food on another trip.

Thank Don P
