Maybe if you haven't been tasting wines for a long time this place would be ok, for us it wasn't. Two almost 50's who enjoy food, wine and travel needed a bit more by way of discussion and flavour in the tastings. The tour was fine but not spectacular. The flight of wines to taste were for someone who enjoyed... More

A beautiful winery. The tour was interesting and informational. It was not expensive at all. Our tour guide was so fun and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was delicious and the grounds are gorgeous. It's a perfect place for a summer get together or wedding.

If you are looking for the fairy tale wedding venue of your dreams, look no further. Chateau Des Charmes winery fits the bill. Their staff is incredibly accommodating and truly made our day special. The ceremony space was perfecrly laid out at the back of the property and the reception space was gorgeously decorated next to it. Pillar and Post... More

The tour of this winery was a highlight of our romatic weekend away. The history of this vineyard is fascinating, the property and chateau breathtaking, and Jessica is a delightful guide. I don't like wine at all, and landed up drinking 2 glasses. What a wonderful afternoon!

Had a tour of this vineyard and wine tasting. The wine was amazing and the tour was delightful. Would recommend this to anyone travelling in this area. The story of the vineyard is very nice to know and appreciate.

We visited here in April 2014 and were quite disappointed with the wine we sampled. The building is gorgeous, very picturesque. The wine however was not that great. There were 4 of us in our group, and it wasn't a hit with any of us. We sampled 3 different types, and most likely selected incorrectly for what we typically enjoy.... More

I came to Chateau des Charmes with two girlfriends. I enjoyed my very first wine tasting. The staff was courteous, friendly and knowledgable. I was blown away by how picturesque the property was, along with the decor. The wines were lovely and reasonably priced.

This winery is easy to find off the QEW and has tours regularly starting at noon. The tour lasts around an hour with a knowledgeable guide who was also friendly and animated. It includes a wine tasting and a discount on wine purchased that day. Wines are quite good and reasonably priced, I left with 8 bottles!

It is a Canadian imitation of how an ancient French winery would look like. The do their best to imitate the cellars, the atmosphere and of course the wine itself. We really enjoyed our stay.

Last week we stopped in to have a tasting. The grounds are so lovely, it feels like you are in a French palace. There are two wine boutiques so if it is busy when you go, you won't have to wait long for your purchases. Our hostess, Rose, was very amiable and knows her wines! We opted out of a... More
