We've done literally hundreds of winery tours on 3 continents and easy to get blasé or jaded, especially at the bigger more "commercial" producers. Inniskillin has to be visited as they pioneered the Ice wine scene in Ontario, and we were very impressed with the tour and the tasting here. In October you obviously can't see any Ice wine being... Always enjoyed Inniskillin at the LCBO, so I decided to drop by during my honeymoon. Didn't have time to take the tour, but will be back as we decided to sign up for their wine club. Free tours and tasting! We absolutely loved the ice wine offered here, and the food was well priced and so delicious. Lastly glad they... More

If you are a fan of icewine, you must stop at Inniskillin. They have the best icewine. My favorite is the oaked reisling. The tour was very informative. I would recommend.

Many good wines available for tasting. We were there for their three ice wines. Many of our friends had never heard of ice wine. Not our favorite winery but Inniskillin had 50 ml bottles available which made excellent souvenirs for our friends back home. PS - Ice wine can be very expensive - but these little bottles go for 8... More

Of the four wineries we visited this time, this was 4th on our list. The wines were fine but the winery itself had a move them in move them out feel to it. There were no chairs, just a bench by the door. Tasting bar was small for a place that got as much traffic as this place got.

We went for the icewine tour on a Saturday. It costs $15 but you get to sample 3 different types of icewines including the sparkling icewine (delicious!). The tour itself was fine but the rest of the winery seemed like all of the others. Nothing outstanding. The bad part is that everything costs money, including the regular tours ($5) and... More

InnIskillin winery is a must see for any wine lover. It is Canada's pioneer winery. From door knocking sales in the late 1970's to innovative world leader today. The winery is well setup for self guided tours but also has friendly and knowledgeable staff to do the tours. The quality of wine rivals anywhere In the world. Tastings and merchandise... More

This winery has excellent wine, friendly people and is very informative. We learned a great deal about the locally grown and prepared ice wines and were able to sample many different types. All were good and the tour was a treat.

DO NOT order the poutine here. Disgusting "cheese sauce". Not even real curds. Luckily we had some wine to wash that garbage down.

Another popular one for bus tours so they can go from not too busy to capacity in a flash. This is a very large winery and you can spend quite a bit of time walking around. They have a outdoor BBQ that you can grab very reasonably priced food at and eat in the courtyard where they have plenty of... More
