I was really excited to stop here due to the fact that it's an organic winery and was pleasantly surprised about how wonderful all of the wines were. I enjoyed the red wines the best, and I'm not a red wine drinker! Not a huge selection of wine, but the wines are all wonderful and reasonably priced per bottle. The... More

Like many, my boyfriend and I took ours bikes to NOTL for a day of riding and wining. We had planned to leave our bikes in NOTL and then cab back to Niagara Falls where the more economical/not-booked-up-months-in-advance accommodations were. Our last stop of our wine trek was Frogpond. We were delighted when we rode up to find a cute,... More

We stopped here for the first time on one of many past trip to NOTL. The property is small and family run, very nice people. We enjoyed the organic wines, made without sulfites. Sometimes I have a very bad reaction to them and it was a nice option. We bought a few bottles and enjoyed the guinea hens and sheep... More

Our main reason for visiting this winery was to sample organic wines. While the facility is in sharp contrast to many of the other facilities we visited, the wine was average. Our host was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The only stop on our tour that featured chickens in the yard.

Everyone wants to support the organic guy but there are so many others that are organic and simply don't advertise it. This winery won the award for worst winery of the weekend - thats the worst of 22 locations! The reds we tried had a distinct cherry cough syrup taste to them and for some reason this is a popular... We were pleasantly welcomed and enjoyed a few tastings of organic wines. We ended up coming home with a bottle of Gamay Noir, which was delicious. We wanted to come home with more, but decided to wait and return for another weekend of tasting. We also ended up getting these really cool wine carriers made out of sails material (from... More

While in the Niagara area, I only wanted to stop at two of the many, many wineries. I choose those two based on the fact that they were organic and very concious of the environment. I loved this one because it was a small, family run winery. I sampled one of their wines and it was good. I tend to... More

We visited the Frog Pond Farm Winery and had a short but delightful visit. We did a tasting of the ice wine, rose and riesling. We are amateurs when it comes to wine tastings but found the staff helpful and very friendly. We did explore the area and got to see the sheep, chickens, roosters and of course the frog... More

The hosts were very helpful and recommend many wines that we enjoyed. We bought a bottle of wine to take home. We also enjoyed walking the grounds. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

2nd visit. Last time we enjoyed the animals in the farm area. Less of them this time. Anyway, tastes some ice wine, Riesling and rose. Not impressed. Small business. Not much to see or taste. We probably won't be back.
