We visit NOTL every year and make sure we do lunch here. We buy a tomato from the grocery store, head there and buy our favourite cheeses and some bread. They make sandwiches for us. Soooo good. We also just tried something called caramelized onion cheddar cheese, which was absolutely phenomenal.

Amazing little store to buy many types of cheese and some charcuterie. A bit hidden but worth to look for it. Very friendly staff.

We have always enjoyed visiting Cheese Secrets in Niagara on the lake. The store is packed with fab cheeses, Canadian and international. They also make up great platters that always impress!

We head to NOTL for 1 of 3 reasons usually. We have company that needs to see the Falls, or we need wine, or we need cheese. Mostly, we need cheese. Since we are lucky enough to only be an hour away, every special occasion and the odd Tuesday require a visit to Cheese Secrets and Eugene and Colleen! They... More

We drove out to NOTL on a whim when we went away for an overnight trip to Niagara falls. From the earlier reviews I read I thought it was bigger, but what they had was pretty decent. I couldn't buy everything I wanted though. Can't bring some things back to US from Canada. Very nice woman working there. Hidden away... More

I enjoy cheese and do adore a good cheese shop .... this wasn't one of them. They have a decent small selection but found the personnel to be less than engaging with the customer. The feeling we both got was that they would just rather us hurry up ... buy something ... leave money ... then leave the store. Do... More

We are so sorry that you had a bad experience. We have over 60 cheeses on hand and specialize in cheese from Canada; that has been our focus since we opened in April, 2009. We never want a customer to feel unwelcome in our shop, would you mind sharing which day you visited? We are just gearing up for the... More

We happened into this great local cheese shop on our way to recharge the parking meter before heading to dinner nearby. Very glad we did. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the regional cheeses he sells. We talked about what we typically liked, and he then offered several samples and information on each to help us put together... More

What a great spot! We had sometime before our dinner plans and visited the wine store close by, on our way back to our vehicle we spotted the Cheese shop! Thought hmmm lets look, so glad we did. The service was excellent and informative. The server was well educated on her cheese and pairings, she served us sample size tasting... More

Okay, it seems a little odd to review a cheese shop, but the service warrants a review! We wandered in minutes after buying local Niagara wine, and a couple of hours before dinner reservations. The time frame was perfect for a cheese shop visit! The beauty of it is that we were able to sample as many of the local... More

Hey, thanks for the great review! The cheese you loved is called Five Brothers, not Four Brothers, and you are right, it's worth the splurge. Thanks to Gunns' Hill Artisan Cheese for this delicious bite of heaven. More
