We happened into this great local cheese shop on our way to recharge the parking meter before heading to dinner nearby. Very glad we did. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the regional cheeses he sells. We talked about what we typically liked, and he then offered several samples and information on each to help us put together... More

What a great spot! We had sometime before our dinner plans and visited the wine store close by, on our way back to our vehicle we spotted the Cheese shop! Thought hmmm lets look, so glad we did. The service was excellent and informative. The server was well educated on her cheese and pairings, she served us sample size tasting... More

Okay, it seems a little odd to review a cheese shop, but the service warrants a review! We wandered in minutes after buying local Niagara wine, and a couple of hours before dinner reservations. The time frame was perfect for a cheese shop visit! The beauty of it is that we were able to sample as many of the local... More

Hey, thanks for the great review! The cheese you loved is called Five Brothers, not Four Brothers, and you are right, it's worth the splurge. Thanks to Gunns' Hill Artisan Cheese for this delicious bite of heaven. More

We decided to bring along a picnic one day during our long weekend, and this was the perfect place for the cheese course! Amazing local Canadian cheeses, and the prices are not as high as I'd expected. Of course, it's not Kraft, it's aged cheddar, etc. so don't expect to get away with paying pre-packaged prices, but they have a... More

Don't let this small shop fool you - it is big on cheeses! Hubby loved the award wining Canadian cheeses. I loved the variety and deliciousness (a word?) of the goat cheeses. We were able to taste if we weren't if we'd enjoy a cheese. The folks who work there are very nice and extremely knowledgeable about cheese. Since it... More

My wife and I come to NOTL every summer, and our first stop is cheese secrets. We buy a baguette, and some cheese, and they usually make sandwiches for us. This year when we asked, they did not want to make us anything, and we almost had to beg....felt the service was not as friendly as it usually was. They... More

Hey Cheese Lover. A couple of years back, our source for multigrain ciabata buns dried up and we could only buy white ones. Most folks wanting sandwiches preferred the multigrain bun, we were disposing of lots of wilted tomatoes and brown lettuce, so the decision to stop making sandwiches was made in the summer of 2012. We do have demi-baguettes... More

Great service, locally and Canadian-sourced cheeses, qualified and knowledgeable staff. How wonderful to buy some great cheese and bread (they had fresh-baked some within the hour) and then picnic. While they have cheeses from around the world, the Canadian ones are not usually found elsewhere and are wonderful.

We had the cheese from here during our dinner at Peller Estates Winery Restaurant, so the next day we sought out the store, and bought a TON of cheese. The staff was very helpful, and the cheese selection is very good. If you're planning a picnic or a get together, this is the first place you should go!

Great selection and the service was excellent. We tasted a couple of cheeses before choosing. Price was really good also, coming from Quebec we have alot of good cheeses but its a very expensive luxury. We also picked up some smoked salmon. Kept going on our bikes untikk we got to the shoreline after the golf and had our cheese... More

We were a group of four and were looking to buy cheese to have with the wines we had bought during our wine tour. Serving a group of four can never be easy, but the staff were very patient with us as we asked to sample many of their various cheeses. They made some great recommendations. If you like this...
