It's official, of all Ontario wineries this is my favourite. We visited NCT Winery over the weekend to stock up on gems to drink over the coming months and also premium red and white wines to cellar down. I have fond memories of our last bottle of 2004 Deans List Chardonnay drank at last Christmas. I will return each time... More

We were part of a group of 8, took a tour of the winery and enjoyed a tasting with John. We enjoyed touring the vineyard and seeing the wine operations. But the highlight was John's knowledge of wines and being open to questions. We loved the variety of wines to taste and learned new knowledge none of us knew. John... More

Our student tour guide was impressive. It was a great first stop: we learned a lot. Came back to buy the ice wine after sampling a more expensive and less flavorful variety at Colaneri.

We choose their restaurant, Benchmark, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially when we realized that most of what was served was grown on site, and everything we ate and drank was made and served by students. Delicious food and impressive wine were creatively served in a unique dining room with windowed walls overlooking the grounds gardens plus a... More

You could use words like unforgettable and amazing to describe our visit to the Niagara College Teaching Winery, but I would settle for surprising, in a good way. I was not aware of the wines made at the College, and a very generous and welcoming sommelier, Vivian, offered us a flight of wines that were truly exceptional. My wife selected... More

We took the Travelzoo package to tour the winery, taste some wines and have a sandwich lunch. The winery tour was OK, the wines were fine and the lunch hearty. The facility is very modern and the setting was scenic. Overall well worth a visit, but nothing outstanding (well maybe the icewine). The package also included a brewery tour and... More

We visited the Niagara College Teaching Winery today and I have only positive things to say. Firstly, the design of this building is gorgeous. It uses curves and windows to extenuate the beauty of the landscape surrounding it. Each person who worked there served us enthusiastically. If you are in Niagara on the Lake and want to learn about wine... More

Stopped at both the Teaching Winery and the Student Brewery on our recent trip to NOTL. Very impressed with both. The brewery has a mix of student brews as well as teaching recipes on tap. Tried some experimental things which were great. The staff that attended us were fantastic too. The winery side of things - the wines for sale... More
