We had a wine tasting at the Niagara College Teaching Winery and toured the gardens of Niagara College. The staff was very knowledgeable and the scenery was fantastic. The vineyards were pleasant to walk around and learn more about wine and wine making.

We stopped for a tasting, having had a few of the College's offerings in the past. Our hostess was knowledgable and very patient in answering my innumerable questions. The wine is outstanding and to know that some of the future's great vintners have started here is a great reason to stop by. She made some excellent recommendations on other wineries... More

Unless someone tells you about this or you research it directly, it is easy to miss this opportunity. However, I was glad that on a recent trip it was part of the wine tour we did. What is special about the teaching winery, is that you actually learn so much about the wine industry and about the complexities of making... More

We bought some of the best Ice Wine here. The tasting room is bright and friendly. The students are very knowledgeable and I rely on their recommendation.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, this is the first place to visit on the way to wine tasting. Showcasing the wineries of the region, there are lots of choices for a glass of wine or two. Very educational, it's almost as good as visiting a winery. Definitely recommend on the way in or out of the area.

I loved their Balance label ... very well priced and very nice. We got a couple of bottles of the pinot, and they disappeared very quickly. Beautiful facilities and grounds also.

It was lovely to visit this winery. Students learn hands on how to make wine while studying their program at the College. Students are there providing samples of some excellent and award winning wines. Sit on the patio and look right out at the vineyard that are cared for by other students.
