Super attentive, informed and friendly wine tasting... uhm, sommeliers? I dont know what you call them. Anyway, we stopped in randomly while driving around the Ontario countryside and were pleasantly surprised. And icewine is delicious. The location is very nice and classy. We only tried the wine tasting bar but the restaurant looked great and would love to visit that... More

What great fun! We were two couples and did the cooking class with Jane Langdon. The facility was gorgeous and the teaching kitchen was beautifully equipped. Under her gifted instruction we turned out a mouthwatering three course lunch which her husband,Joe, paired with the perfect wines from their vineyard. It was the highlight of our visit to Niagara on the... More

We booked dinner here for our group of six on recommendations by the staff at our hotel (Harbor House). We were NOT disappointed! As late night diners, we were a little concerned that we would be shuffled off to no-where-land and somewhat ignored. Not. Our waiter was top-notch, highly experienced, and led us through the menu thoughtfully. The entire wait-staff... More

My boyfriend and I stopped in here without having any clue about the winery or any of its products. We tried a series of wines in the tasting room and ended up going home with a few choice rieslings and ice wines. We also decided to stop by Terroir La Cachette for lunch, and the food was excellent!

My first visit to wine country in the Naigara was many decades past due I am embarrased to sat. However this little vineyard exceeded my expectations. Firstly the staff was well informed, helpful and pleasant. The tour was free, brief and informative. The three wines included in the tour were up to par. (golf language for completed acceptable). The store... More

This winery was well worth the visit. Hayley at the tasting bar was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We hadn't expected to buy any more bottles this trip but she suggested a few that were exactly our taste and were a great price. If you're in the area, I'd recommend checking it out.

My husband and I visit the NOTL wine region annually and this is one of a few must stops on my agenda. Skip the regular tasting bar and head right to the premium tastings. If you purchase, the tasting fee is waived. It's a great opportunity to compare same varietal of same vintage but aged differently--a 2012 chard aged in... More

We had a blast at Strewn. The staff took the time to run us through their wine list and explain the differences between their wine and others. We weren't rushed and enjoyed every moment. A definite must for Niagara vineyards.

If you're looking for a fun, stressfree day, definitely take a cooking class at Strewn Winery. My husband and I attended the BBQ cooking class on Saturday. We started with a black bean salsa dip and chips, followed by a unique Greek salad (bbq'ing the cucumber and peppers). This was followed by bbq'ing salmon on cedar planks with a homemade... More

If you want someplace to have a great meal and wines, go to Strewn's. Their soups were a bit one-note but everything else was delicious. Strewn offers three different Chardonnays oaked in different types of barrels. Each one is divine.
