I normally do not like fruit wines- they tend to be cloying and have a poor after-taste. I was very happy to find that Sunnybrook's fruit wines are not like this at all. Their Pear Blossom wine is very light and refreshing and wait until you taste their Chocolate Allure!

I don't like sweet wines,so I had avoided fruit wines. Armed with a vouch for wine tastings at Sunnybrook Winery, we were pleasantly surprised to delicious light pear, peach, plum and Chocolate Allure (a little heavier) wines. There were not at all sugary. I purchased two varieties! Keep your mind open. My husband also enjoyed a hard cider.

We dropped by Sunnybrook on the way to Strewn and what great luck. Sunnybrook makes fruit wine (other than grapes). I believe they have apple, blueberry, peaches etc. I've been here once before and I thought the wines tasted weird (just different from normal wines made from grapes). But they started making ice wine and so for $3 only, you get... Sunnybrook is a small winery. They offer a good selection of wines. Check the wine trail map for other wineries which are very close to Sunnybrook.

We were so excited to see a fruit winery on the list of Niagara-on-the-Lake wineries and had heard some good things about Sunnybrook. Unfortunately it was a super uncomfortable experience. The server at the desk seemed really annoyed when we came in, as if we were inconveniencing her to greet us. No information about any wines was voluntarily shared and... More

We spent most of our day in Niagara-on-the-lake doing wine tastings and had up to this point found the folks providing the wine to be upbeat and friendly. This was not the case at Sunnybrook - the girl serving us was not very friendly or talkative and it felt awkward standing there in utter silence, it made me want to... More

Bad products, bad service!!! The fruit wines are a good idea but at this winery they are more like fruit juices with alcool in it. The service at the tasting bar was totally bad by an employee who seems to hate her job. We had no explanation on the winery and the products that we had tasted.

Sorry to hear your experience at Sunnybrook. We will investigate the incident and our staff service to ensure this will not happen again. Unlike grape winemaking, our wines are made to reflect fruits' original characters and many of our customers enjoy the approach we take. For example, we want our peach wine to bring out the taste of fresh peach... More

Sunnybrook Winery has the most amazing fruit wines (other than grapes!). They offer options from light and spicy to dark and delicious that compliment any type of meal. This year, our favorites were the spiced apple, strawberry, and blackberry. They also have an interesting chocolate wine that would be great with desserts. The tasting room/area is small and familial compared... More
