Food and wine pairing themes are mainstays in the chock-full seminar and event calendar. Peller Estates' full range of Private Reserve whites, reds and sweet wines by Winemaker Katie Dickieson are always rich and approachable, while the Signature Series features age-worthy reds, award-winning Icewines and the unique Ice Cuvée sparklers, sweetened with a touch of Icewine. « less

This is one of the most charming wineries I have ever visited; and, I have visited wineries in many different countries. We had lunch in their restaurant. The food was excellent. If you really like good wines, don't miss the Reserve Wine Tasting Room tour upstairs from the main tasting room downstairs. It will be well worth it. Also, they... More

Beautiful winery, beautiful grounds, and attentive staff. This is a huge building of great architectural flare. Wines were on the higher side for my budgeted taste, and they do charge for wine tasting that they back off the purchase price of any wines you decide to buy. $7 for 3 samples, and the samples were generous. The staff member who... More

We got free tasting vouchers from the Shaw Festival and went here at the end of the day. The first thing you notice when you arrive is the beautiful entrance. We signed up for the last tour of the day, $10 per person. While we waited, we used our vouchers for free tasting. You can try three different wines, which... More

We went here at the suggestion of our hotel (they gave us a coupon for a free wine tasting!). My husband and I were staying in Niagara Falls but got sick of looking at the falls and dealing with the tacky tourist traps in the area. We decided to drive through wine country and visit Niagara-on-the-Lake and take in a... More

We visited around 5 wineries on July 10, and Peller Estates was the most impressive. The largest winery by far in the region, with a good choice of wines and a reasonable price for the tastings which was not charged because we bought several bottles. The added bonus was a free lunch of 10 dollars value at the food trucks... More

I typically only review places that really stood out for being great experiences. My (adult) family and I enjoyed the tasting room and the grounds were beautiful, even in November. I wish I knew the name of the staff member who helped us choose our wines. Great service & we enjoyed our purchases thoroughly!

We stopped in for a luxurious tasting menu lunch on the outdoor patio, and were treated to far more courses than even the menu promised. From the freshest produce, to pairings with the Estates' own wines (the Merlot Freezie was a wonderful palate cleanser!) the entire lunch was not soon to be forgotten. Take the time and enjoy the fruits... More

We had a young man lead our tours and he was excellent in presenting the winery; from the history of the winery and its founders to the varieties of grapes. He taught me several new things about wine tasting and dispelled a couple of bad habits I'd developed in handling red and white wines. The only thing I did not... More

A great little wine shop located in the quaint town of Niagara on the lake. The wines were very good. I was really impressed my the 99 Ice Wine. Well worth taking a bottle home for enjoyment. They offer all kinds of fifty things as well as you wander the wine store.
