Andrew Peller was one of the founding fathers of Ontario wine; today his namesake winery remains a family-owned enterprise - focused around the grand winery, showpiece barrel cellar and gracious Peller Estates Winery Restaurant (helmed by Chef Jason Parsons). Food and wine pairing themes are mainstays in the chock-full seminar and event calendar. Peller Estates' full range of Private Reserve whites, reds and sweet wines by Winemaker Katie Dickieson are always rich and approachable, while the Signature Series features age-worthy reds, award-winning Icewines and the unique Ice Cuvée sparklers, sweetened with a touch of Icewine.

My husband and I came last weekend for a wine tasting and had a really great time! It was our first time being at Peller Estates and their wine was really delicious...we are white wine fans, and tried a couple of new wines we have never had before. Had loads of fun at the Ice Wine tour, I took my friend that was visiting from California, the highlights of of the tour was the Ice bar. To top off it off was the delicious marshmallows we roasted. The chef was nice enough to sign the stick for my guess ☺

Peller is one of the reasons we go to the Icewine festival. There are lots of other reasons but roasting marshmallows on the Peller patio is just plain fun. But it is January and it was a miserable, cold and windy day. The patio wasn’t as busy as last year and we only stayed in the wind for about 10... More

We took part in a small group (12) tour of the vineyard and winery. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. We tasted four wines at four stops along the tour, but the last stop was the highlight. The tasting of the icewine takes place in a room built of crystal clear carved ice. Everything is made of ice including the bar.... More

We have been taking first time festival guests to Peller and they have always enjoyed the ice wine marshmallow, which they get to roast in an open fire. It is a fun activity, but perhaps Chef need to change it up a bit. It's been the same item for many years :). Peller is a lovely winery. Has a lovely... More

Chose this as one of our stops on the Icewine Festival. While the pairing offered was not my favorite (the Icewine infused marshmallows w the cab franc Icewine, was just too sweet for me); the 10 Below Icewine Tour was the highlight of that day's touring! We found another Icewine we enjoyed and got to see the "coolest" room. The... More

We went in the afternoon around 3:00pm and all the tours were sold out already so we can only do the testing. The have grape juice for kids so they don't get to bored during the testing, all the wines I try were really good. My favorite was the icewine Cabernet Frank

Had looked this up last minute as something different to do. We had a blast! the wines were great, the tour was fun, and the property was beautiful. Afterwards we walked around in the downtown of Niagara-on-the-lake and it was fantastic. A great day trip if your staying around the falls.

Our first stop on the wine trail. Gorgeous estate and extremity friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately the wine didn't measure up.
