Attended on a work function. The wine(s) were fantastic. The food, on the other hand, didn't hit the mark. Started with the beet appetizer, which was good. My main course, the beef short ribs, fell short on my expectations. When the server brought it to me, it seemed a tad cold. The chocolate creme brûlée was very rich. The accompanying... More

Michael was an excellent tour guide! Veey informative and fun! He answered all our questions and then some! Taught us about wine and the history of Ravine too. The wines were absolutely fabulous to top it all off!

We really enjoy the tasting experience at Ravine. The tasting room is very welcoming even if it is on the smaller side and the wines are to our liking. What we also very much enjoy is the small grocery annex on the back of the building which features amazing cheeses and breads. After some wine tasting, buy a bottle (or... More

This was one winery we were going to go back to. We love the their buttery Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. The employees are very kind, helpful and knowledgeable about wines. They don't try to sway your tastings...they recognize we all have different tastes. This is one of our favorites of the area...the restaurant, too.

My son gave me a gift certificate for Ravine Winery for my birthday so my husband and I decided to go there for lunch on Thanksgiving Monday. I decided to order from the Thanksgiving menu (three courses for $48) while my husband decided to order from the regular menu. However, we were told by the waitress that we couldn't order... More

Personally I didn't enjoy the wine, but I'll admit my palate leans more towards a little sweeter and their wine was too dry for me. The staff serving the tastings were just efficient with the most basic service and polite manners. No extra information or friendliness was offered. We did not end up buying anything in our group. We moved... More

Michael was an excellent guide. We caught the Chardonnay tour in the afternoon. Michael was giving a detailed description of the soil and what it takes to grow and harvest a winning crop in Ontario. About half way through his presentation a cloud burst chased us inside the winery. Michael did not flinch but instead continued his explanations to us.... More

A terrific winery. Great wines, we had a fre wine tasting because we ate at their excellent restaurant. They were very informative about the whole wine making process and one of the most friendly wineries we visited. They also have a great store with very nice fresh breads and cheeses.
