I purchased a "couples class" for my mother as a birthday gift. She and I went and spent a fantastic day with Jane and her crew creating a delicious meal that we enjoyed with the delicious wines that they paired with each course. This was such a fun day and we left completely happy ( and full)! We love cooking... More

If you are looking for a day of fun and some fabulous food (er, and wine...!) the cooking school at the Strewn Winery is a wonderful choice. My husband and I booked a long weekend with another couple - all foodies - and thought this would be a fun experience to share. We were not disappointed! The kitchen is set... More

The wonderful hands on kitchen facilities offer a number of cooking stations, so everyone gets a chance to get involved. Jane Langdon brings a ton of energy and expertise to the process so we all learned a lot and had a great time doing it. Being right on the winery premises adds a special feel and connection to the marvellous... More

I have visited the Wine Country Cooking School many times over the past 5 years and it has been an incredible, memorable, and unique experience each time. Jane and her staff do an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome and, regardless of your culinary skill level, you will learn lots. Classes begin with a tour through the day's menu... More

Starts with a great facility and first rate food preperation areas. Jane's enthusiam is contagious and sets you up for a great and fun day. Her staff are very attentive (you don't do any clean-up !) and helpful. After enjoying the time preparing your meal you move to a lovely dining room. The winemaker Joe Will joins you to share... We have been attending the cooking school for well over 6 years and have always enjoyed the recipes we make, the laid-back and fun instruction from Jane (cooking instructor) and enjoying our meals while sampling wonderful Strewn wines with Joe Will, the wine master. We keep coming back for the fabulous times (and wine) we have - Strewn Winery and... More

While the boys were playing golf, the four wives were having a fantastic time preparing a gourmet lunch for themselves. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the menu was discussed and agreed upon prior to our arrival. New techniques of food preparation and presentation we discussed along with wine pairing - an absolute fun day! Food groupies should definitely... More

We enjoyed our cooking class. It is always fun to cook in someone else's kitchen, especially when they are prepping and cleaning up. Your staff was great. We learned some new things. The recipes were lovely with enough instruction to keep the class moving while allowing us to create our individual dishes. The food very fresh and the wine pairings... More

We went down to Niagara on the Lake and enrolled for a week long session in the Wine Country Cooking School. It was an absolutely great way to spend a week! The Winery was an absolutely beautiful setting and the kitchen is a great space to work and learn. The instructor Jane ensured that everyone was comfortable, regardless of your... More
