We played on a cool October Friday morning, the sun was out which made play delightful. Our foursome was able to get off on time and easily kept pace for the 18 we played. Thundering Waters is not the longest course in the area, however it is one of the more challenging courses. There are tons of bunkers on every... More

This is my 4th time playing here and it gets worse every time. Played in another company tournament. Service at check in and bag drop was ok. Seemed like lots of able bodies doing what they should. After that everything is a let down. Cart paths cracked and crumbling. Tee boxes were overused and more like a low budget course.... More

A very hot day no cart service half way house is closed The pro was also in charge of the snack bar. Could not get breakfast or even a coffee at 8 am. How is that possible. The starters think they are working for the CIA . Hospitality is non existent. There are so many good courses in this area... More

Finding the place in the middle of a subdivision was weird, even the GPS was confused . It started with a 1/2 hour delay from our 11am tee time; it was backed up from the first tee - bad starting par 4 - either a 7 iron off the tee or half the golfers try to drive the junk and... More

Unusually located - driving into the course, you'd think you're entering a subdivision. That's the first impression. The course itself is somewhat difficult with lots of sandtraps. It takes finesse and ball placement ( not power) to play the course. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. I didn't see anyone driving around on a beer cart but you drive... More

I was expecting a grip it and rip it course because John Daley designed it. It's quite the contrary. Excellent shape. Fairways like carpets. Impeccable greens. You gotta like a lot of wet weather for that. Played it twice. Enjoyed it both times. Definitely someplace to play if you're in the area. Highly recommend. Oh…it's slow. Expect 5 hours minimum.... Such a great location to golf, but what a disappointment. A course that has so much potential let down by absolute awful course conditions... The greens are running at about a 6 or 7 at the most if you have a down hill breaking putt.. The half way house sausage wasn't even cooked they gave it to us raw and... More

This was a great course to play when away on vacation. I got an early tee time and was off the course in 3.25 hours. The price was very reasonable and the course well taken care of. The only possible bad note is that the yardage is low but that's it. The staff is very nice and just 6 minutes... More

This is a challenging course. If you are a beginner bring a lot of golf balls!! Water, sand, trees and long grass will be the challenges. The course is very picturesque. You can see the mist from the falls and the downtown hotels on many holes. The course is very well taken care, manicured and in great shape. Kudos to... More

I was very leery about playing this course due to so many bad reviews but I am glad I ignored them and played it. I got a steal from golfnow for it. 42 bucks all in with cart. Proshop fully stocked mostly with loudmouth apparel so if you are not into that not much for you. All the staff were... More
