I was very leery about playing this course due to so many bad reviews but I am glad I ignored them and played it. I got a steal from golfnow for it. 42 bucks all in with cart. Proshop fully stocked mostly with loudmouth apparel so if you are not into that not much for you. All the staff were... More

I played this course on Sat., May 24th. The weather was beautiful. The course is busy, but we didn't find it as bad as others have stated. took just over 5hrs. We got off about 30min behind schedule as well. The course conditions were excellent, but pretty wet. Water-logged in many places. The Marshal was a pain. Told us to... More

The mixed reviews this course has garnered over time was most clearly exemplified in our recent experience. We had booked an early afternoon tee time on a Sunday. With this in mind I was fully prepared for a slow round. I was completely unprepared for a 6 hour round. The round began when, upon our arrival, we were told we... More

We have been to Niagara several times over the past 5-6 yrs. & always make sure we play this course. It is challenging but fair. Course is well maintained with a beautiful pro shop, club house. Carts have on board GPS so you always have the important information right in front of you. Make sure you give it a try,... More

Our foursome had a lot of fun at Thundering Waters recently. The course was challenging but certainly not a long one. Grounds were well kept. Greens were a bit chewed up but we were playing later in the day. The only problem we did have was with the gps on the cart. It was constantly getting stuck on certain screens... More

Nice course to play if you can play on a not busy day and you have a discount. We played on a Friday afternoon, tee off was 30 minutes later than booked, waited on every shot, took over 5 hours to play, with 3 groups on every hole. We were not informed when we checked in that they were 30... More

This could be a great golf experience if management would pay attention to some important details. The course was in good shape for an early September weekday when we were able to book a tee time for $55+ HST. The arrival experience was somewhat strange in that they have intermixed the club drop and clubhouse with multiple residential properties. The... More

The course was beat up, greens and tees were especially bad. There were so many divots that were not repaired or filled in, we all rolled into them during the day. We saw no rangers, and our round took almost 5-1/2 hours. We could have stayed home in Rochester and played a better course for $30.

The course was in reasonable shape, although I used a ball washer once and it had dirty water and no towel. I would expect better for almost $100. We were there on a Sunday in August and maybe that was the problem. We had an 11:02 tee time but didn’t tee off until 11:30. Several times there were two other... More

I'm just amazed at the amount of negative reviews. I guess our neighbors to the south are constantly used to being catered to like royalty that there sense of reality is totally blurred. The golf course was in fantastic shape, provided a good challenge and left us wanting to come back. I did notice a few small issues, but none... More
