This ride is a real throwback in time. It is not fancy or extreme. It is just an old time cable car ride over the fall whirlpools. Regardless it is fun. If you buy the Niagara pass, you get to do several sites for less money - I encourage it.

If you are afraid of heights, you may want to skip this one. The Aero Car crosses and returns across the whirlpool created where the Niagara River makes a sharp right bend. The view is spectacular and the guide on the car is very interesting. I really enjoyed this.

This is a very old trolley car that crosses a section of the river below the falls. You cannot see the falls from this. I enjoyed just looking at the trolley system and didn't feel the need to ride it. Loved the history behind it.

For those that are not afraid of heights this is one awesome trip across the Niagara gorge. If you visit and don't mind the height go for it.

It is all to be liked. Some people, of course, are a bit anxious but the return crossing, when you change sides, is great.

Worth the ticket price to go over the whirlpools and see the magnitude of waters power. Great picture taking opportunity.

The views from the cable car are simply amazing. Well worth the entry cost. If your nervous of heights I'd be cautious if I'm honest. I'm not but I took time to adjust to basically a wire holding all that weight in the air...

An old time piece of engineering that takes you over a rather large pool of swirling water. Don't let the word whirlpool fool you, it isn't like a giant version of your bath plug hole. It is where the class 6 rapids of the Niagara river try to complete a 90 degree turn without success meaning a lot of the... More

We did the Aero Car in autumn with really nice Fall color. The trip is quite short, but we knew that before hand. As far as the person who said you stop but don't dock on the US side ? There is a Canadian flag on both sides of the cable ride...you have a good view of the US side,... More

We highly recommend the Whirlpool Aero Car... it gives you a view you can't get any other way. We went in late October, and the fall foliage was spectacular.
