My family attended the Greg Frewin Theatre for dinner and the magic show on our visit to Niagara Falls. Other than the Falls - it was the highlight of our trip. The meal was excellent. We had 3 of the different entrees and all of them were equally good. We spent the extra money and got a booth which was definitely worth it. The view was great and we liked that it was a bit more private. Our server was really good. We felt so well treated throughout the whole experience. Then we got to the magic show. My husband was expecting a "mickey mouse" magic show but we were blown away by the top quality performance and the astounding tricks. My jaw dropped several times. The whole thing exceeded our expectations on all levels and we definitely would recommend this show. It is a great thing to do with teens. (We have a 12 and 17 year old and they both loved it.)

I surprised my husband with tickets to this show. It was great! We did the dinner and show. The dinner was very nice and the wait staff were all lovely. The dinner is good value. We sat in the 2nd level and had a great view. The show itself was very cool especially his card tricks. Some of his bigger tricks were a bit repetitive (how many times can someone go in a box and disappear and reappear) and there weren't as many live animals in the show as they advertise there will be. Greg himself was humourous. If you like magic it's worthwhile

Amazing. Really. Came for the weekend on a whim and so glad this is how we spent Friday night. My 8 year old was so enthralled she just sat there mesmerized. She couldn’t even clap. Lol. Everyone was lovely, professional, and personable. The magic was incredible. We were in the front row and I tried as hard as I could to “catch” the tricks to no avail. I may have shouted “Stop it right now, that’s not possible” at one point. Loved it.

We went to the magic show and it was the highlight of our Niagara Falls trip. The magic show itself is very professional and highly skilled! We loved it. The meals were good, but not great- if we return, I would consider finding a more upscale resturant BUT if you arent looking for that experience and just want a good meal and a fantastic show, then it works.(and this worked for us because we were with children anyway) Dont miss this show.

The venue is set up like a dinner theatre, but since I only went for the show, I cannot speak to the food. I did get seated at an empty spot at a table with a family who had done the dinner part of the evening, but we all got along very well, so that was fine.
I am sure that there were points of the show where my mouth was hanging open. I don't know how these things were done and I kept an eye peeled, but I will freely admit to being baffled.
I had never seen a professional magic show before and thought that this would be a good place to start. I'm glad I went.

I’ve seen the show at this theatre multiple times over the years and always loved it. Truly used to be something spectacular. I went back again thinking I was in for the same show and expecting perhaps a new illusion or two… only to find that most of the illusions are now done by a magician in training who’s going to take over for Greg - Which would be fine if he had the same skill, but many of the more grand illusions weren’t in the show at all and the tricks now are more suited to a kids birthday party. Very underwhelmed. I wish Greg would do the full show again!

I was very disappointed that the show I attended didn't feature any tigers. The theatre needs to change its advertising or specify the difference in which shows feature tigers and which don't. I understand that things can change, espeically when you are featuring live animals; however, it seems like the show no longer uses tigers but they are still featured in all the advertising which makes for a very misleading experience.

A very fun show at a good price. We had a wonderful evening. I have read reviews saying the dinner isn’t with it but I disagree. It’s a good value for the money. We were not disappointed with our meals and would do it again. After seeing the show I am pretty sure Greg is really magic.

We were delighted to come back and see the show after having seen it about 15 years ago. It’s a lot of fun and definitely recommended. It did feel a bit dated though .... the career highlights in the opening video montage all seemed long passed, the dance numbers were a bit cheesy, and the audio-visual effects weren’t working smoothly.... the production probably needs to be refreshed. The tigers only made very short appearances, which was disappointing. Greg said he would talk about them, but never did. Maybe everything was a bit off due to COVID. We had fun, but there was a tinge of sadness about the whole thing.

The Staff at the Greg Frewin Theater were extremely attentive.
The show itself is 'Over Hyped' as it went really fast.
The Dinner was extremely well prepared and tasty.
Greg is an amazing entertainer and Magician/Illusionist.
Due to my Mobility Challenges, I couldn't have a picture taken, but what an amazing idea, also wish I could have had The VIP Encounter.
All in all nice way to end my Niagara Falls visit.

I've seen several references to a VIP backstage tour, but I see no mention of it on the theatre's web page. I'm looking for information about that. I have several questions--what is the cost, what does it include, how long is it, are there limitations to which tickets it can it be added to (eg. only specific levels, or only tickets that are for both the dinner and the show)? If this information is easily available somewhere, I'm more than willing to look it up myself if I could get a pointer for where to look.
Hello,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We are currently, not offering the VIP Backstage Pass program.
When the VIP pass returns there will be notice of it on our website.
Thank you,

If you are in an end booth will everyone be able to get a view of the stage? Looking at the seating chart it looks like some won't be able to see. I would like to know from people that have been in a booth. Thanks all.

I don't believe there are any bad views from any booths, we have sat in the large and small booths the view was fine. we have been at this theatre many times and would recommend level 2 or 3 , we like the view from these levels.
