Sister course to the Battlefield course at the Legends of Niagara complex, this Tom McBroom-designed layout features wide, flat fairways bordered by mature trees, fast greens, and fairly deep bunkers with excellent sand. Condition was generally excellent, although we observed many fairway divots left unrepaired. There is some water on the course, but it rarely comes into play. A very... More

This course was not in the same condition as it's sister course. the greens had been recently aerated but were rolling nicely. The layout is very similar to Battlefield. If I could only play one I'd play Battlefield.

Played at Ussher's Creek on 08/17/12 and the overall condition of the course was fair/poor....not what is expected for a course commanding $65-$80 per round. Some greens were in very poor condition, fairways burnt/dried out and areas not taken care of. There were areas where sod was removed from the fringe of the greens due to burnt grass. Although these... More

Ussher's Creek one of three 'Legends on the Niagara' courses set on 1,000 acres near Niagara falls. Here's the good part. The course is lovely, set among mature deciduous trees and occasionally bisected by the small, meandering Ussher's Creek. There's an interesting variety of hole shapes that will require you to use most of the clubs in your bag. The... More

When you first drive up the long winding driveway you see exactly what you would expect... A beautiful club house surrounded by stone work. The staff greet you as you drive up and place you bag on a cart and get you all checked in. The fairways are impeccable and very well groomed but not enough to make it too... More

This is my favourite of the two Legend courses. Water comes into play on several holes. Can be setup with some challenging pin positions. Greens are fast and aways in good condition. The driving range is one of the best in the area. Clubhouse is large and having lunch on the balcony gives great views of several holes..

Golf in Niagara is so much cheaper than the Greater Toronto area and this course is excellent for the money. Plays long (5 hours) but very challenging and beautiful.
