Yes, this is a great place to go with children but it also brings out "the inner child" of even the oldest visitors. It was magical!

If you buy the package deal that includes this location, it is worth the short walk to see their variety of tropical plants,

They do an amazing job to keep this attraction in top shape. The ticket price was $11.00 but worth the three hours I spent here.

My daughter and I generally visit every botanical gardens we come across. This one was a little different because it was the Horticulture school. It still had some pretty neat things to see. We took the horse and carriage tour and that made it even more memorable.

They do have a water fountain that you can sit on and some trails going through the different gardens. The butterfly conservatory is on site if you... More

The gardens are gorgeous, many different kinds of plants, flowers, herbs and a big vegetable patch grown by the Horticulture students, You can walk around for hours if the weather is not too cold, it's pretty and very relaxing and smells amazing.

This is a free garden located on the same grounds at the Butterfly Conservatory. While many of the flowers were no longer in bloom in late October, there was still plenty of color to see. There is a large rose garden, and roses of all colors were still in bloom. Not to mention all of the beautiful autumn leaves, trees... More
