Beside the seeing the magnificent waterfalls,I managed that year,1995 to see the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, something downstream to the north, from the Falls. It is situated in Niagara Parkway North Boulevard, that follows the Niagara River west coast. There are 100 acres that belong to these charming green areas. Here You can see many species of the roses and other exotic flowers... More

We came across this garden because we had arrived late and had to park a little further from the falls than we had hoped for. This place was well worth the extra walk.

The park surrounding the Niagara is wonderful and worth a visit. There was a light drizzle when we visited but we managed to move around.

We visited the gardens in the summer, if you like plants there are tons of unique species of gorgeous flowers. We visited in mid-October. Luckily, there had not been a real "killing frost" so many flowers still were blooming. We enjoyed walking the pathways through the botanical gardens--can imagine that summer visit would be amazing.

After our stay at the Hilton Suites, we drove along the Niagara Parkway and the colours, even though it was the end of October, were still pretty good. Went for a nice walk at the Botanical Gardens, Love Niagara Falls

One of the nicer gardens I have seen. Walking distance from the falls so makes it a nice side trip while you are there.

I've gone to gardens wherever I've traveled and this is still one of my favourites! They have an amazing variety of trees - some giant specimens! The herb gardens is outstanding. If you're looking for something more standard, the rose garden is jaw-dropping. The butterfly conservatory is filled to the brim with magic and beauty. Kids LOVE it (and adults... More
