We signed up for the horse carriage tour around the grounds which took us all around this expansive property. We learned some things about the grounds we would not have figured out by ourselves. The exclusive horticulture college that takes are of this property should be commended. It was a gorgeous day bathed in sunshine that really made you appreciate... More

I thoroughly enjoyed walking in the gardens and interacting with the Mountie ... It sure was an eyeopener as i used to just see these on tv..never knew they were real because of their uniforms.

Went on Fathers Day as my husband is an avid gardener and nature lover.. We went as a family and enjoyed every minute of our visit.. We also visited the Butterfly Building which is inside this gardens.. The place is so big that we couldnt possibly see everything there in one day.. They have horse and buggy that will take... More

Well worth the visit. The entrance fee is $5 for parking. The gardens are extensive and well laid out by types of flora - prairie, English garden, etc. All plants were labeled. A simple map would have been helpful.

We found it interesting...just. But for a 5 dollar parking fee only, who could complain? Lots to see and occasionally inspiring. Overall enjoyed it but it's no Kew Gardens.

The botanical garden was part of our park discount package, but we had to pay $5 per hour to park. We walked around the three green houses and loved the beautiful flowers. It was nice and sports themed per the pan-am games. I did it once, but would have rather spent more time at the butterfly garden.

Some of the most interesting trees and green vegetation. You can stad in one spot and look through layers and layers of plants and continue to find new types. Enjoyable.

The WeGo line will cost you $7 for 24 hours or $11.50 for 48 hours and it will take one anywhere in and around Niagara Falls. The Green line will take you right to the Botanical Gardens and the Butterfly Gardens. The gardens are all outdoors and part of an apparently important horticultural school. It's a great place to chill... More

The park is beautiful and maintained by students and volunteers. We took the horse and buggy guided tour that I highly recommend. It was a great way to see a lot in a short time and gave us a lot of history and information.

After taking the cruise to have a closed and up look at the Niagara Falls (please refer to my earlier review of this place here), we came by this lovely park cum gardens for a short walk and photography session. It was a warm and sunny day but was cooling and refreshing here. We were impressed with the beautiful flowers... More
