What a treat! We took a carriage ride through the gardens. Our driver provided a great narration of the gardens history and pointed out some of the notable trees, plants and flowers along the way. Would do it all over again!

This was one of the best unexpected stops of our visit to the Niagara Falls area on the Canadian side. The Botanical gardens had so much varieties of plants and flowers we were pleasantly amazed. It was beautiful grounds to wander thru and it was Free! We received the WeGo pass as part of our tour and on our own... More

The Botanical Gardens are very beautiful, and they are nice to take an afternoon stroll through. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls, so it is very peaceful. The grounds are well manicured and full of very diverse and beautiful plants, trees and flowers. The best thing about this attraction is that it is free, so... More

Flowers were well labeled and the walk though the gardens was great. Even the guys liked the variety of flowers and plants.

I talked these gardens up to my husband after a solo visit, so I was nervous when he wanted to go...but he LOVED it and didn't want to leave...the gardens and the buildings are beautiful, and we found things I hadn't found the first time...there is a snack bar at front, but no picnic grounds, also an additional-charge butterfly conservatory... My husband and I were visiting the area for the weekend and coming here was his surprise to me. Unfortunately it was raining, but that didn't stop us. We biked from the free parking down the road and used the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens app to guide us through the gardens. Everything is kept up very nicely - the students... More

This park is just stunning, and well worth a stop. The grounds are beautifully kept, and there is lots of information on the plants on display. A relaxing oasis in the heart of Niagara!

We liked the gardens to the left of the butterfly exhibit, there was much more to see and it was kept up much better than the rest. We took a lot of pictures for ideas for our yard at home. The gardens to the right are full of rhododendrons and azaleas which would be beautiful when in bloom. That area... More

We go here every time we visit the falls. No fee and many beautiful plants. flowers and trees. The secret garden type area is my favorite. They also have a water feature we like now. For a fee, you can take a carriage ride or go to the Butterfly Conservatory. You should go, it's all part of the experience!

Our greeter was "jet" a part Clysdale almost black handsome mature horse. He was pulling a cart (fee) but we opted to walk the shady lanes and sniff the roses!!! Loved the many grasses artistically displayed and the arboretum. You have 100 acres to traverse. Terrific gift shop. Oh with-in the boundaries is the Butterfly Conservatory (fee) Bring a picnic...
