I have never been to a butterfly sanc. This is worth the money. Take your time. The butteryflys are everywhere. And for the kids, there are live displays of the various stages of development

We did this because it wasn't the season for the botanical gardens yet. The flowers did not bloom yet but inside this butterfly conservatory was warm and green. It's cool to get up close and personal with these graceful creatures. The nocturnal exhibits were cool too.

Great place for viewing every beautiful color of butterfly. There are walking paths surrounded by gorgeous exotic plants and the sound of a waterfall splashing in the background and of course the froliking butterflies. Saw a guy with a telephoto lense zooming in on a blue morpho while another butterfly landed on his baseball cap and stayed with him... Lots... More

I felt like alice in wonderland, walking through the actual conservatory. Very well maintained place. There are butterflies here, there and everywhere. One will even sit on you and welcome you. And so many different species, beautiful designs and vibrant colours. Must do, especially if you are a nature lover and have children with you.

A lovely place to visit whilst in Niagara Falls. To go inside the butterfly conservatory and see so many different species was amazing. Staff friendly and informative. We visited there as a part of the nature Adventure pass and was not disappointed. Great place for a family to visit.

The butterflies were definitely flying. They were everywhere to the point of my not knowing which one or group of some to photograph. One even landed in my wife's hair. An interesting place to take anyone, even children due to the activity of the butterflies.

What a way to spend a cold winter afternoon walking among all the beautiful butterfly's !! it is nice and warm and the colours of some of the butterfly's are beautiful. I personally liked the blue one. Be sure and stop at the gift shop.

Highly recommended! Small place, so you can cover the area in minutes (tickets pricy), not very touristy either. The entire conservatory is a slope of winding paths with exotic plants on either side and a clear glass ceiling on top (like a greenhouse). The highlight are the tropical butterflies (25 varieties or so) flying free in the air and feeding... More

The Butterfly Conservatory is set in the middle of an horticultural school with beautiful surrounding gardens. As you enter the butterfly conservatory you are immediately overwhelmed by the exquisite tropical plants and thousands of the most beautiful butterflies from all over the world. It is hard to explain the sensory experience....I can only say that it is heavenly.. Butterflies of... More
