We went on our 2nd anniversary trip - my husband had never been to the butterfly conservatory or the botanical gardens. We had a great time, and had winged visitors land on both of us - including while my husband was trying to take pictures of other butterflies! It's a little short (small-ish building), but definitely worth the cost to... More

This place, is so so special. I was just blown away when i first walked into the butterfly conservatory and about 50 butterflies were just all around me right away. Such a relaxing and just beautiful experience. So many colors, so many species of butterflies, they're just everywhere, you don't have to search to see one, it's overwhelming really how... More

We only went to the butterfly conservatory because it was on the bus tour route. Glad we did, apart from the falls themselves it was one of the highlights of the tour.

I could not say enough about this place. Once you get inside the butterfly room, it is basically a HUGE greenhouse full of tropical trees and plants. The air is warm and moist. There are literally butterflies EVERYWHERE! It is truly amazing. There are so many butterflies and the plants are well tended. I absolutely recommend it for adults and... More

Enjoyed our visit. Probably would be beautiful to visit in the summer to truly appreciate the surrounding gardens.

Travel around Niagra is very easy on the WeGo local bus. We used this bus to get to the butterfly conservatory. Buses were about every 20 minutes. There are over 2,000 butterfly's, it is well laid out and user friendly and not costly to get in. Also there s a cafe nearby. And not to forget the squirrels.

Our guide was Debbie and she called us her Debbie Daredevils. We had an awesome time on the almost 5 hour tour. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of the falls. She told the story about the falls in such a way that we were hanging onto every word she spoke. She stayed with the group (there... More

The perfect day to visit the Conservatory because it was chilly and raining outside. It was enjoyable having all the different species of butterflies flittering around and landing on you. I thought some parents that were there should have supervised their children better and not let them try to pick up butterflies by their wings!

Well worth the money, I didn't want to leave! So many butterfly's, I was in heaven. Well laid out, it's warm inside but little air coves that helped when I got a hot flash...Thanks!
