We had the pass to visit the tunnels behind the falls and the free travel on the peoplemover along with a visit to the butterfly conservatory. The butterflies are of beautiful colours and freely flying around. It is a 15 minute ride north from the falls, but on the way the bus stops to let us have a look at... More

I am dismayed by all of the bright lights and tourist amusements taking away from the natural beauty that is NIagara Falls Ontario, this conservatory is wonderful and if your family is traveling to the area, check this and the bird sanctuary out, there was no line ups for us, handicap accessible to a degree.

I have been at least three times, and enjoy it every time. If you're a shutterbug like me make sure you bring your camera, there are lots of photo ops. Be prepared to spend at least 45minutes meandering through the conservatory, it can be busy but have never been bumped into or felt others were "in the way of seeing".... More

My husband and I purchased our tickets with the Discovery Pass and visited the Butterfly Conservatory on the 2nd morning of our trip to Niagara Falls. The WeGo wasn't up and running yet, so we took our car and were disappointed by the $5 parking. The Butterfly Conservatory is surrounded by the Botanical Garden, and while it was mid April,... More

This is a great place to cure the winter blues, the plants butterflies and heat take you away from the winter blahs and its educational to boot. My brother proposed here and I now have a great sister-in-law

This educational facility is located on the school of horticulture grounds. The gardens are beautiful in the summer. The conservatory is very well done and children love it when the butterflies land on them. Please teach them not to touch though!!! Wear something colourful and you're sure to be popular. You can stay as long as you like, but it... More

A visit to the Butterfly Conservatory is worthwhile. It is next beautiful grounds and gardens where you can walk and enjoy quiet time. It is away from the falls and all the busyness that is there. If you want and need a place that is both interesting and refreshing, this is the place to visit.

Absolutely loved this place. I have never seen so many beautifully coloured butterflies happily flying around and feeding. I felt like Alice in Wonderland!! Very interesting 6 minute film at the beginning which I would urge you to watch especially if you take children as it explains why we shouldn't touch .Also some little creaturtes outside the butterfly world for...
