Although I was there for business, the hotel was very elegant and quaint. Port Credut us a jewel in the GTA.

I love walking through the lakeside village of Port Credit. It's hard to believe that it's actually a part of the vast suburban expanse known as Mississauga. Everything in Port Credit is on a more human scale. A walk along the main street (Lakeshore) will lead to a rich variety of little stores, restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops. For those... More

We visited Port Credit to go Letterboxing. It's very close to Mississauga on Lake Ontario. We loved the Park that is located by the library. We walked on the main street and down to Snug Harbor to look at the boats. The people at the park were very friendly and we ended up doing the same things as a mom's... More

I had been looking for a place in Mississauga to relax and spend the day. After checking out the reviews on this site I saw that Port Credit was very well reviewed. I can honestly say the reviews were not wrong. There are a couple great parks to explore right on the lake and enjoy a pick-nick lunch or diner.... More

Port Credit is like Mississauga's little get-away without getting too far away. There's a small board walk and little shops. It's really neat and surprisingly close by.

I had not been to Port Credit in many years, but a recent visit was a real eye opener. The Main Street (Lakeshore) is bustling with great restaurants and shopping. The Marina seems to be a busy venue these days too. Lots of parks and places to stroll. And, when you tire of all that, great outdoor patios for people... More

Port Credit is beautiful and a really fun place to visit. It's fun taking a stroll through the little village. Once you're done, grab some lunch by Snug Harbour and take a stroll by the water. Beautiful!

Parks and a Marina alongside Lake Ontario. Most restaurants cater more to the beverage trade than to the cuisine. Good Indian and Thai Restaurants. Many festivals including The Mississauga Waterfront Festival and The Southside Shuffle Blues and Jazz Festival. Great to hike or bike along the Waterside Trail which follows the lake to Toronto. Terrific for family outings.

Whenever I need a mental or physical break, I head down to Port a Credit. Not only is the view refreshing and awesome, but there are so many interesting stores and restaurants. There is nothing like sipping your coffee while watching boats go in and out of the marina. The trails offer unobstructed views of the lake, and in the... More
