Lots of shopping and no big box stores. The lighthouse is beautiful. This little town is loaded with history and there are people walking everywhere.

By far the best hidden gem Mississauga has to offer. Restaurants are fantastic, lively bar scene, cigar shop is outstanding, coffee shops are spot on. What more would you want in a afternoon or evening out. Every business is within walking distance and tastefully done, directly on the water. There is nothing better than having an amazing dinner at one... More

It's a beautiful area! Enjoyable even on a rainy or snowy day. Starbucks on the corner and enough free parking for everyone.

Great small town feel, not too expensive, lots of options for food, great bike path, great harbours, recommend walking along the lake or bike riding.

Port Credit is small enough to walk around in and contains a variety of restaurants and walkways as well as local shops to explore. The people are friendly and the many parks allow one to picnic or just sit and watch the lake. There are many special events to celebrate and the town is family-friendly.

Port Credit should have been chosen as the downtown of Mississauga.Skirted by Lake Ontario to the immediate south, it is blessed with a number of nice restaurants and places to grab a cup of hot coffee. The lake is beautiful in the summer as Port Credit has a number of parks that surround this area of town. For years, it... More

Port Credit has that certain "je ne sais quois" about it, but you love it when your here. Summers are best, however Spring and Automn are beautiful here with endless trails winding for miles through well manicured parks and the constant view of Lake Ontario is a definate bonus. Lots of picnic tables and built in BBQs are ready n... More

The credit is great to run early spring. Wear a life jacket. Anytime the river is high you can run the river. You can start in Streetsville at Vic Johnson Arena and end at Erin Dale park at Dundas.

Be aware that most stores in Port Credit are closed on Sundays, at least in November. We had a great walk on the waterfront but not many stores open. Ate at the pumphouse grille. Not bad but not great. Ribs were not "fall of the bone", however nearby tables seem to be better so maybe just a bad rack? We'll... More
