Great town

I love Port Credit. You can tell this town was established a while ago and there are many little boutiques that sell unique things at great prices!

The best part of summer is taking a leisurely saunter around the harbour. Its peaceful, and the glow from the boats and lights at night create beautiful waves of colours in the water. Be sure to stop and take pictures of the ducks that live nearby.

Lovely little area. Walking up and down lakeshore. Many small shops and restaurants . Great for a weekend stroll along the water. Getting better and better every year.

As you all know, Canada is the second largest country in the world, hence travelling from East to West and/ or North to South might take a while. Choosing to visit Port Credit is like taking a crash course on everything Canada has to offer. Pluses: Port Credit can be explored on foot, on roller blades, skateboard, or on bike.... More

We live close enough to Port Credit to be able to enjoy weekly Saturday morning breakfasts followed by a stroll through the harbour. During the spring and summer months, there are festivities almost every weekend; last weekend we enjoyed the Mississauga Waterfront Festival, the week before was the Dragonboat Races on the Credit River and the week before that was... We stayed in Port Credit, which is about 20 minutes car drive from Pearson international airport. An up and coming little place, only hotel of worth is the Waterside, a few nice bars and restaurants, but good location to get around Toronto.

We really enjoyed the rhododendron flower park. The flowers were in bloom and the grounds maintained beautifully.

Nice place to visit with lots of restaurants. As a child we always launched our boat here to participate in the great salmon derby. A & W by the waterfront was a treat. Nice parkland along the waterfront and easy access for launching.

Port Credit Harbour is a nice place to go for a stroll on warm summer day. You can buy an ice-cream cone, take the kids to the playground and stroll along the boardwalk.
