Love our Celebration Square. Always something happening here. Huge screen monitors, like being in Time Square. Places for sitting, access to shopping, city hall, theatres, library from here.

Food not too good, no value for money, staff not friendly and helpful. Sandwiches too cold. Atmosphere not so friendly. OK for business travellers who have work in the municipal office.

Best place to hang out in the summer, lots of fairs and festivals, outdoor summer movies with families and the amazing fountain where kids have the time of their life. Best money spent in Mississauga for family and fun.

For example ribfest, if they have more overhead cover for raining/snowing days then the food could be enjoyed more comfortably. I'm not sure if its a faulty design or there's something I'm missing. Large screens for watching live sport games is excellent. Speakers work well and loud.

The city puts on a lot of free shows that are actually fun to attend and right beside square one so can do some shopping or catch a movie before to make a day of it.

The city does a really good job keeping the celebrations going here. There are a lot of activities and festivals throughout the summer, some of which are free. Very clean and family friendly.

Celebration Square is better than I expected it to be. The Square is in constant use year round, with lots of free activities and events. Some of the events include: Canada Day Celebration, TD Irie Fest, New Years Celebration, Farmers Market, Movie Nights, as well as Fitness events. Although most events occur in the spring and summer season, in the... More
