This is a large park right on the shoreline of Lake Ontario in Port Credit - even with swans! There are many walking trails, great off leash area, children's play area, picnic spots & just wonderful spot to enjoy nature. Parking is fine off season but fills quickly in the summer. Wonderful spot to escape to in the winter if... More

Not only is Jack Darling Park an amazing outing for the entire family, complete with a splash pad, beach, biking, hiking trail, as well as couple of playgrounds, there's also large picnic area complete with BBQ pits. But for me, the most amazing part is the leash free dog park! It's huge, there are great gravel paved walkways, but several... More

Jack Darling is always a great spot to visit with the family and is generally fairly busy in the summers. The biggest challenge can be to find parking spots, even though there is a fair amount of land available. Love the park as it offers everything for family outings and a beautiful setting on Lake Ontario.

Beautiful park with an extensive off leash area which has many different areas within it. Woods, hills, grass areas, sand areas. Views of the lake from parts. Lovely walking.

Bring your picnic basket or take out lunch/dinner and enjoy the natural beauty of the lakeside park. Just west of Port Credit this natural wonder is a great stop if you are out for a drive by car or bicycle.

Wonderful place to visit for walks (with or without the dog), fun place for kids, alongside Lake Ontario and with views looking out towards Toronto skyline. Lovely boardwalk to see birds. Play areas for children. Lots of parking and picnic spots too. Clean and well maintained.

First things first... Unsually warm weather when we visited and hence this made the visit all the more enjoyable. A huge park with separate areas for dog owners to let loose their pets...Walk ways through thickly vegetated areas and a lovely and absolutely stunning lakefront walk way. You feel as if you are completely outside of Mississauga City and yet... More

This huge beautiful park is nestled between housing developments on the shore of Lake Ontario. There is plenty of parking (but on a hot summer's day you need to get there early to find a space ). There's playgrounds for kids, a children's wading/sprinkle pool, numerous paved pathways or you can go for a quiet walk along the beach. If... More
