Jack Darling has picnic settings that can cater to people with various tastes. This huge park offers two picnic areas with BBQ and running water. One can BBQ next to the lake or in a regular park setting. There's the beach for people who want that kind of an outing. There are splash pads for kids and trails for folks... More

Last week my wife, 5-year old son and I went to Jack Darling to spend part of my wife's birthday. Our first time. Chose to go there based on reviews here on TripAdvisor. We had a very nice time. There were quite a few people. But it was quiet enough. Very much liked being so close to the waterfront. Enjoyed... More

This is a great park to go to for a family outing or picnic. It has a beach, hiking trail and a water splash pad for kids. It is a great park for four legged friends who can run around and enjoy the outside. We love going and having a bbq with friends and family, looking at the skyline.

We enjoyed a picnic lunch we picked up from a nearby restaurant and enjoyed looking at Lake Ontario from a little gazebo at the park. Lots of space for many people to be there but not get in your way!

Great place for family outing or picnic. For the young adults there is a reason its called the Darling park. Skip a stone and see if you can beat 7 skips that's my record. Touch football or Frisbee or soccer lots of land available to play around.

We've been going to this park since my children were small. They have a splash pad which is great for kids of all ages. Was there last week and noticed that they are rebuilding the play structure. Looks amazing! Avoid on weekends in the summer as it gets extremely crowded

Gorgeous park with tons of interesting areas to explore - both for human and dog. The leash-free dog park is very well-maintained, and merely a short walk away from the lake. Excellent place to visit for a refreshing leash-free experience paired with a nice stroll along the lake.
