Jack Darling Park is a very popular spot in both summer and winter. The area features a long shoreline with a sandy beach, a play area for kids, including a splash pad, several large areas for group picnics and many areas right on the water. The park closes at 10pm.

Beautiful park for picnic or walking or meditation. Not crowded during the week days. in June, tiny black flies is annoying but it does not harm.

There is a tobogan hill in the winter, The dog park is huge and a great place to take your dog. The rest of the park is great for picnics and walks but gets very busy on long weekends. Do not park illegally as they will ticket you since the city knows it gets crowded, just park on lorne park... More

This park has lots of picnic tables as well as barbecues available, small beachfront areas, a playground and a splash pad for kids, walking trails and 2 sets of public washrooms. Lots of sunny or shady areas under beautiful weeping willows. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The driveway into the park is right on Lakeshore Rd in Clarkson... More

It's a nice park but I wish they cleaned up the beach. This doesn't stop people from swimming but this place has such a potential to be amazing, just a simple raking would do the job. The splash pads were enjoyed by my kids. The leash fee dog park is nice though. It's big enough so that the dogs are... More

Early one Sunday morning my wife and I stumble upon this hidden gem on the lake in Mississauga. We really enjoyed it and will continue... More

We absolutely LOVE this dog park. It's only 25 min from where we live and it's absolutely HUGE (approx. 22 acres). Our dog isn't the most confortable around dogs she's not acquainted with and since the leash free dog areas is so large, we rarely run into other dogs :)
