We were in Mississauga to visit Toronto Bethel. That was fantastic. The next day we enjoyed ourselves so much visiting Jack Darling Memorial Park. The water was beautiful but too cold for most humans. Saw dogs fetching sticks paying no attention to the chilly water. A park that allows dogs, loved it as we had to leave ours in Michigan.... This is a large park by the lake with nice lawns, some trails, picnic tables and bar-be-ques ready-to-use. The lake view is really pretty on a summer day when you can see boats going by. Beware, however of summer weekends, when local apartment-dwellers and community groups take over large sections of the park for day-long picnics. The park gets incredibly... More

Beautiful park in Mississauga. Free parking close to the water, plenty of picnic area, play scape for children in close proximity, 2 small beaches for swimming. Has a "Centre Island" type of vibe without the trouble of travelling on the ferry.

We regularly take our dog to the Jack Darling off-leash dog park, and we feel so lucky that such a park exists. There is a lot of ground to cover and the little rocks help to absorb the mud during rainy weather. The stairs are a great way to burn some extra calories. Overall, a five-star location for pooches.

We had our college reunion at this park last August 2014. And I must say from the moment we arrived to the time we left the place, we loved every part of this park. There is no entry fee to this park and they have lots of parking as well, however if you want a good spot you definitely have... More

The beach Front walk way is connected to the park. Nice location for a walk along the water. Flower are out in the summer and they have wash-rooms.

I love Jack Darling. Huge difference from when I was a kid. Now there are two playgrounds and a splash pad for my neice and nephew and the water is clean enough to swim. Before I had a dog, I loved walking through the pathways and losing myself. Now that I have a dog, I go almost every weekend in... More

This is a great spot to walk to Rattray Marsh although there is lots to see here. There is a great kids splash pad, washrooms and great views of Lake Ontario and Toronto.
