Efficient loading and unloading. Right on schedule. Long lines and wait times as regular ferry boat is in dry dock for maintenance. Smaller substitute ferry in service. Poor timing just as busy summer season gets started.

Wonderful ferry! A nice, gentle ride, takes 20 so minutes to reach Wolfe Island and it's free to all! Note*: The ferry leaves Kingston at the top of the hour and leaves Wolfe Island at half past. Depending on the size of the ferry and how many vehicles are in line to get on you may find yourself waiting for... More

"The Wolfe Island Ferry is a very nice ferry, it's a very nice ferry, it's the Wolfe Island Ferry..." as sung by The Arrogant Worms, a Canadian comedy/folk group. It was suggested that we visit Fort Henry in Kingston, when my daughter asked where the Wolfe Island Ferry was. Since it was across the harbor, we decided to take a... More

The ferry is a fun ride to Wolfe Island. It doesn't take very long, and offers place to sit, observe, inside and out.

The Wolfe Islander is a small but good ferry, on time and cost free. Get out of your car and go to a viewing room where you can be cozy no matter how cold the weather. Washrooms are adequate.

Nothing much to do in the island during winter. There's only ferry available to Wolfe Island in winter and it's free! Services are frequent - departs hourly from Kingston, near the City Hall.

Just take a trip over to Wolfe Island and back on the same ferry. Great way to spend an hour in Kingson and a great water view of the City. Just don't tell the government how much you enjoyed it or they'll start charging a fee!!!!

This is a great free way to view Kingston's waterfront, Old Fort Henry, RMC, the Martello Towers and more. Board the ferry at the docks on Ontario street near The Tragically Hip Way just past the Tim Horton's. If you are just visiting the other side then park your car and walk on. When you get to the other side... More
