For the best view of Kingston and it's famous attractions grab a front row seat on the Wolfe Island Ferry. Sit back, cool off, and relax. Located at the bottom of Queen Street in downtown, you can drive, bike, or walk on, it's free and will cruise by the Royal Military College, Old Fort Henry and Kingston City Hall. You'll... More

Thank you Canada for the ferry boat service to and from Wolfe Island and Kingston. The ferry must handle 50+ cars and unlimited pedal and foot passengers. Beautiful view into Kingston of a great waterfront and into Wolfe Island of multiple wind towers.

We took our grandkids on the Wolfe Islaner 111 on our way back to Cobourg from Lake Placid. They loved it. ( ages 12, 8, and 6). It's free, fun, and not too long. We toured the island, had supper at the General Wolfe restaurant, then caught the ferry back to Kingston and continued home.

The ferry to Kingston was a positive experience. It appeared to hold a lot of vehicles (including big trucks). It was fast to Wolfe Island and run efficiently at both loading areas.

Took the ferry out to Wolfe Island for the experience and would definitly recommend if you have some time to kill. You can tell it's more of a summer experience, although watching the ferry break through all the ice on the waterway is pretty interesting! Ferry was right on schedule - it was our first time riding one and didn't... More

The family loves taking this ferry across to Wolfe Island - and it's free. We try to take this ferry whenever we are in Kingston. We love being on the water so this is excellent for us. We love driving around Wolfe Island and going to the beach. I like taking photos from the ferry.

Offers terrific views of Kingston's waterfront. Restrooms on board. You can get out of your car and sit upstairs, or stand and watch the bow wave from the deck. Free. Try to avoid "rush" hour when it's full of commuters to & from the Island.

It's free of charge, Marysville is quaint, and Wolfe Island is great to explore. Why not take a few hours and see what it's like over on the island? Get up close to the windmills, see tons of wildlife, and find yourself at the General Wolfe ripping a brew.

You can take the Wolf Islander over to Wolf Island and spend the day, ok maybe 1/2 is more realistic. Besides a few shops, restaurants and the wind turbines there is not alot to do. It is also a fun way to get from and to the US instead of taking the Thousand Island Bridge East of Kingston or the... More

According to our kids the Wolfe Islander is the best part of Kingston. They are fascinated with the ferry and take rides daily. Offers great service over to the island.
